My just purchased CLS55 AMG almost perfect but missing a cigarette lighter

Does anyone know where I might scrounge up a cigarette lighter for my CLS55 AMG. It is as pristine a car as I have ever encountered, not a speck of dirt anywhere. Previous owner was fastidious, and a non smoker and the ashtray has never been touched. Unfortunately he says either his girls or guest must have misplaced the cigarette lighter element when using it to recharge an iPhone or other gadget. So, there is a vacant hole under the ashtray cover...

Anyone have any ideas where I could find one? I know I can get one from MB for $75 or so, but I don't smoke it's just to make the car complete.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I noticed there are some on eBay but they are too long to fit under the cover. Has to be a short stubby element. Ain't that always the Mercedes way...

What is it with these cars? When I bought mine the two rear ashtrays and the center cupholder were missing. I know ones from a 1994 S420 will fit because I used the ones in my 420 for the CLS. Get one from a scrap yard but don't spend 70.00 on something you don't use. Also check under the seats because they like to hide along the inside seat rails. Good luck.

Maybe a 12v flip up cap would be better...

Now that you mention it, it might be better and less expensive if I could fit one of those flip up access caps like the one in the trunk and in the back seat on this car that is stamped with 12v on it. Everything "Mercedes" is expensive right down to the door lock knobs. Good luck. Also the ML lighter will also fit. (Have one of those so I know)

Mercedes ML truck series lighters fit. In fact most MB lighters are interchangeable. Just go to a yard and look for the right fit. I don't know how easy the 12v cover is to set up and it may require removing the socket in which case it probably won't fit flush when you're done.
