Is there any warning/indication when air pump relay sticks causing dead battery?
Regarding the posts about the air pump that keeps the four corners of the Mercedes Benz level. Apparently on occasion (not too often I hope) there is a relay that will stick and cause it to drain the battery even when the key is off. Wow! that is not good...
For anyone to whom that disaster has happened. Was there any indication that something was wrong. Could you hear clicks or humming or any sound that would warn of the battery being under a load?
Was there anything odd that could be detected by an owner in their garage to indicate bad things were about to happen to your battery?
