It doesn't fit the car for some reason. I can't pinpint exactly but it does make it look worse. That kind of body needs those AMG wheels to look hot, or some wheels with a lot of gap between spokes maybe for the reason it is really widebody??..

I personally don't like the wheels as they don't appear classy or high-quality and are not performance-oriented at all. I'm surprised that CarGraphics makes them. CarGraphics make awesome performance wheels that look like it for Porsches. These look really bling-bling and heavy.
The reason I think that the wheels don't fit properly is that the offset appears incorrect. The edge of the wheel over extends past the wheel wells. Also, the tires are not wide enough for the wheels. Instead of a flat or concave sidewall, you get a bowed-in affect. This looks particularly bad on this CLS as the aspect ratio looks like 15% (very stiff)? That kind of convex sidewall affect is about the most undesireable look you can get in incorrect aftermarket plus+sized wheels/tires. Ride and handling definitely suffers here along with appeal.

It's funny how all the U.S replies are all negative....except for Mad32's...i guess it must be a European thing.(as far as taste) If you think, pretty much all the European tuners are very agressive as far as offsets(Kleeman/MAE/Brabus) and from what i read on the website that i took the pictures from..this is somebody's car and he asked for the widest wheels possible.(i believe rears are 20x10.5 or 11)I like them anyway because they are different.(everybody has AMG/HRE...) also they remind me of the MAE wheels i had on my '95SL.

It's not only a question of looks, but those tires do not properly fill the rims. 20"x10" and 20"x11" are common/typical fitments for anyone going to 20" rims on SLs here in the States. Regardless, HREs come in many finishes, sizes and styles and I honestly say that to me, HREs look much classier with a better profile than these "Cargraphic" wheels. Besides those wheels are not close to being performance-oriented, they are on there strictly for flossin' only (to each his/her own). If the tuner would put the proper size tires on those wheels, it would look much better.
