03 Pewter E55
I saw a CLS 500 with AMG package yesterday at Park Place Mercedes in Dallas. They brought it in for training purposes. I had my doubts about how I would like the new styling, but I LOVED the lines on this car. The rear seat actually feels more spacious for some reason than my 2003 E. I placed a deposit a few months ago and was thinking about going with a different car but not any more.

I don't like it either...but nothing makes the new BMW designs look good...my E55 is my first Benz...it was all BMW before that...yo are you from NYC?

I live in Cali now, but for the first 30 years of my life, I lived in NYC. Went to law school at Columbia and lived on the upper west side (near Lincoln Center). I miss Yankee stadium and NY pizza the most.

When I saw the CLS in person at Brabus in Newport Beach California the other week, I can honestly tell you guys that I was STUNNED at how good looking this car is. I kept walking around it, and around it, trying to find an angle that it looked awkward at and that awkward angle doesn't exist! It is low, sleek, and good-looking. This thing ROCKS!!!
The CLS was black on Black with 20" wheels, lowered about 1.5"s. The front wheels were 9" wide and the rear wheels were 10.5" wide. The first impression I got when I sat in the CLS was how sporty it felt inside. The over all impression is, as if you are sitting in a sports car not a four door sedan. The interior space is on the snug side but still very comfortable. When I say "snug" I am referring to being held snugly behind the steering wheel, not snug and uncomfortable. Also the interior has a very high quality feel to it.
I sat in the back seat of the CLS and had my 6'2" tall buddy sit in the front seat so that he was comfortable and I was able to sit in the back seat (I am also 6'2" tall). Again, It was snug but not uncomfortable. The back of the rear seats are recessed for your knees, which makes it possible for two guys our size to fit.
Also, did not feel closed in because of the high side window sill line when sitting in the back seat or the front seat.
This thread has a picture of the CLS at Brabus.

too many to list
yea I share your excitement aswell Evolution Marine but I personally think that the vehicle has a BMW touch to it, the side curve specially the way the windows follow the lines almost forming an arch very 5 and 7 series like.
