CLS or not..Just for your info. NEW 06 SL pics.

I know this is the CLS forum but seeing as I have a CLS55 on order and am re-thinking my purchase after seeing the new SL facelift pics I thought I'd give everyone else the same opportunity. I love it.

This is BS that was posted on Autospies 7 months ago.

Why would MB do this? It certainly won't sell more cars and it will just anger most SL owners to have their car look like the SLK.

Just my opinion but I don't believe it for a minute. Time will tell but I wouldn't hold off buying anything based on those pictures.

Aren't these cars fundamentally different. The CLS55 is 4 a seater/4 door sports sedan while the SL is 2 seater/2 door sports cars.

I like your car list but I probably wouldn't have traded the Lambo for the Ford F150.

If a two-seater works for you I'd switch. The CLS looks better in person than it does in pictures.

Don't think MB would ever put a 6 pipe exhaust on the SL. Or put Carlsson wheels on a 55. If I havent seen the SLK with the F1 nose, it might look nice, but now......ummm.....I dont think so.

I'm 89% sure that it's a tuner works, I red about it or saw it on TV i'm nto sure but i'm almost sure that it's a tuner who takes your SL and puts on it hood and grill SLR like look, i swear i seen it before!

I agree Bob, I do remember seeing these pics with an article about a tuner that does this to the SL. Maybe MB will end end up doing it anyway. The triple exhaust will never happen though so dont worry.
