smoking my C55 taillights
Seems to be a hot topic currently, i would like to smoke my C55 tailights, but not the whole taillight area, but like that of the SL55, 65's just the clear section. Had anyone done this, have pics, know costs, etc...Thanks

Did it on my old CLK430, but if you follow these instructions you should get it, just do the opposite, tape off the red portion and leave the white exposed...
FrankW did it to his C32 and they look great, awesome write up! Remember to spray the painted part with clear coat to make it glossy... Of course if you want the AMG look, you'd smoke it very lightly, but you get the idea, either way it looks great!

no not at all, i'm not saying to make the completely black, just a hint of tint. If you have seen the SL 65 you know what i would mean...i will try to find a picture of what i am talking about.
