Not much interest in C32?
having a hard time selling my c32. Just wondering if it was hard for people to sell their c32 and how long is the avg time to sell my car? I know its not the car ( I have all the wanted options and the miles arent really that high) and my C32 is well priced compared to other C32s on autotrader.

As a potential C32 buyer, I can see 2 things wrong with it:
1) Your price is way too high for the miles and year. I was about to buy a 2003 C32 with 22k miles for $35k without any negotiating.
2) It's black/black. Why is it that every other Mercedes I see is either black or silver? The more unique colors are worth a little more to me.
Just my opinion. Looks like a great car otherwise. Some interior pics might help too.

Could it be because black and silver are more than half of the color selection? Seriously, they offer 10 colors for the C55 and 6 are either black of silver...

sadly to say, but $36k is way high for the mileage and year of that car.
i have one guy email me if i am interested in selling my car, I was like where he get the idea i want to sell the car, but yea...there's ppl out there that loves to get their hands on the C32.

lol that was probably me.. :-) There are definitely people out there hungry for them. One idea, I'm not sure if it's available in your area Vimzin, but you might try www.craigslist.org. Craig's sites get heavy volume, but you don't see many c32's advertised so when they are on they seem to get offers quickly. Hope that helps.

Ya, unfortunately its your price. I picked mine up a few months ago w/similar mileage for quite a bit less than your asking price. I think the going rate in Cali for a car w/similar mileage would be more around 32-34k IMO.

People get confused as to what drives sales price these days on the used market. Trade-In is roughly $30k so that in reality the starting point. Anything above that is gravy on the open market. Don't let a website with car values(KBB, etc..) tell you differently. Another strike against you is it will if it already hasn't be going off warranty soon. Most people buy a car under warranty when spending upwards of $20k.

Dealership always buy trade-in far below market price.

Agreed, I thought it was just a give in that all british cars are unreliable? Don't even get me started about the new aston's... I love their cars but have a friend that is a head mechanic at a shop that services aston's exclusively... he has nothing but horror stories about them (especially the newer ones, db9 included) and how much of a nightmare they are in terms of reliability and servicing. He flat out told me he would rather have a new vette over any british car after his decade of working on them.

For what it's worth...
A friend of mine owns an M5 and it is ALWAYS in the shop with problems. Something to think about.
There is a low mileage E55 by me for $67k which I think is a solid price. Check out: www.luxurymotors.com to look at it.

The reason I picked a M5 was I would like to have a manual tranny this time around. I picked a Range Rover based on looks I think it looks hot not sure how reliable it is.

I have had the car for about a year and half its a awsome car just want something else now. The longest I have ever owned a car was my bmw for 2 years. I dont want to mod the car because Ive lost a lot of money moding my other cars before. If I mod a car now I want to make sure its something that ill be keeping for a long time.
