C32 AMG

TV tuner install

Hi Guys,

I have a '02 C32 with COMAND, live in Aust. Absolutely brilliant car....

I just bought a TV tuner (the factory OEM tuner with wiring and antenna).

I am about to embark on installing this tv tuner. Just wondering if anyone has an installation manual or a guide?

I am pretty good with electrics and I know the TV tuner is fitted in the trunk somewhere??

Can anyone help?

Sure does Tariq...

The wiring I have fits the C2 connector. So I'd imagine after installing the tv tuner + antenna it's a matter of connecting the wiring.

Do you know how to get to the back of the COMAND unit to install this cable, ie do I have to remove the COMAND unit?? Do you need special tools?

I think its like 11 hundred for DVD player TV tuner and reverse camera..... i am going next weekend to do the install and will get a more accurate cost...

THATS GREAT, THANX FOR THE LINK... I MIGHT ACTUALLY COME DOWN NEXT WKND TOO, HOW LONG DO YOU TINK IT WOULD TAKE FOR AN INSTALL?
