What are your best times at the drag strip?

As a former owner, I agree. Again, at Great Lakes which can be real quick & fast if a cold Wisconsin wind is at your *** out of the west and the temps are in the 50s, I never did better than high 13s , low 14s. My stock ML 55 can do that . The car is a 4 door brick, heavy and allegedly 303 HP (although Toyota could be lying too). Notice on the posted times how they are all by the same 3-4 people (who probably have spray or something. No way low 13s. When Smart cars fly??
Stock, define that word for me? They probably mean, Stock as in TRD stock parts, off the shelf.

Why even break a sweet? Who cares anyway? Cars will eventually be faster then us right? Why even let such things bother you....we know the facts...and will deal with it when it happens..

coz i'm a former is300 driver and i got alot of flack for switching over, just need to be prepared to shell out the 12k for the kleemann...

How could you catch flack for switching from an is300 to an AMG Mercedes??? They are in completely different leagues! Even if in some dream world the is3XX ran anywhere close to even w/ the AMG of choice (in anything, not just straight-line speed), there is something to be said for owning one. This is coming from a blue-bleeding Ford owner haha.

Maybe because Lexus IS owners are MORE uppity than is AMG guys!! By the way, in two weeks I am doing at Joliet (AutoBahn) the half day ISF school to see how she drives. I will give full report when I am done. Its on a Friday there and we get to ring them out with an instructor then individually.

damn, 4400 feet! youre driving around at the same elevation people here on the east coast are skiing!
fyi i know east coast skiing is lame but sometimes you dont have all the time, effort, and money to fly out to tahoe and roast it up on the real slopes.

That was a great run.....I think you did it on your rims/tires right? Even though its my personal best 13.14 was a little dissappointing to me since I modded the car...but so many variables that could of held me back...like 70ish degrees...I actually did better with my street tires. I need a 185mm pulley

[QUOTE=c32used;2830006]You should post your time up it will put you dead second on Dragtimes.com real close to beating first...only 5/10 to go so maybe my drag tires will help bring you to first..
Honestly, these times are amazing for a V-6 S/C engine. I mean, we're talking exotic car territory when you get to mid to low 12's. And this is with just filters, ECU and pulleys (and little traction). Now imagine a Quaife, 2 pulleys, some refined ECM tuning and a 50 degree day with no headwinds??? Are the 11s that far behind???

The times are very good, but there is quite a lot into the cars. My tune itself is many revisions old to get the right mix. Then throw cooling into the equation as you know our cars suffer from high IAT's. Its gonna take a hell of a lot for a C32 to break 12, but love your thinking!
I believe the fastest 32 on record is 12.38?

Here is my US41 May 17th session...
My mods are at the bottom. I feel the time could have been better but feel I am losing something from mid to top. Opinions anyone?
