I recently posted mine up on dragtimes. This was bone stock, dirty stock air filters and all. The wheels and tires are not stock (18" ASA GT4s with PZero Neros), but if anything the added weight of the 18s vs the stock AMG wheels would slow the car down. This was the first/only time I had this car at the track (I just got it a couple months ago).

http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...lip-16419.html

I'm going again this Saturday with K&N filters and resonator delete (plus hopefully cooler/denser air) to try and get a 13.2x at 106+ mph with it.

Not bad for a stock car; I ran 13.2 at 108 at Morrocco in August BUT it was also 92 degrees that day, so the DAs were way off. With a Code III and Jerry Tune, you'd be real close to high 12s at 108-109, Particularly in MN where the air is cold and dense.

I have a Crossfire SRT6 Aero Blue with the LET 181mm pulley, SL55 intake, LET ECU tune and resonator deleted. My best time so far, on street tires and a well prep'ed track, was 12.518 @ 112.65mph. It is posted on dragtimes if you want to see the slip.

http://www.dragtimes.com/Chrysler--C...ag-Racing.html

Awaiting a new mod now and then back to track if the weather cooperates.

Congrats - nice times!

Why do you expect to run better in summer weather? Just curious...

Ok I should have said late spring..not July/August summer. Mostly for better traction on the tire.

Thanks!

2002 C32
Well, I hit Rock Falls Raceway for the last event of the season yesterday. Car is a 2002 C32, stock except for resonator delete and K&N filters. Tires are Dunlop Direzza DZ101 255/35-18s, with 225/40s in the front. ASA ST4 wheels, 18x8 and 18x9.

Weather was very cold to start with (it was 30 degrees at 8am when we arrived.....). My first run on the cold track was a spin-city 13.90 at 105.96, with a 2.30 60-foot time (my worst in several years.... ). Second run was my best, at 10:42pm, 40 degree air temp (equates to -500ft DA):

60'..........1.985
330'.........5.547
1/8 ET......8.513
1/8 mph....82.73
1000'........11.053
1/4 ET......13.181
1/4 mph.....105.77

Ran two more after that and they were in the 13.30s, 104-105mph, with 1.97-1.98 60-foots.

I honestly thought it would trap higher with the excellent density altitude. It went 13.342 at 105.46 (2.041 60') at +2000' DA, bone stock. Oh well, had fun anyway.

I attached a scan of the slip.

Well , my words above were prophetic!! Ran the following on 10/18/2008 at Morrocco: 2004 C32 Code III pulley and Intake with LET INtake and tune, No exhaust mods, Pilot Sport IIs on stock rims, Rear air 30, Front air 35

11:43 AM CST (waiting for track to dry!!) Temp: about 63 degrees Humidity: 51% Car # 11 (racing a Twin Turbo Vette)

Reaction: .1079
60ft: 1.9861
1/8 ET: 8.26
1/8 MPH: 86.58
1/4 ET 12.76
1/4 MPH: 109.22

That is absolutely amazing Newzchspy, I cant believe that you ran 12.7 with just the c3p pulley and both intakes and a tune. At first I was dissapointed when LET stopped selling parts especially the 185 mm pulley, but now I think I will be ok with the c3p pulley and intake. Great run.

I can't say it was an amazing run, BUT for a basically stock car save the pulley and intakes and stock rims/ no drag radials and no Quaife, its a nice run. ANY street legal car that gets 24 MPG and runs in the 12s is all right by me. Thanks for the props. I think that you'll be happy with Brandons products and I too am waiting for more.

Dragtimes request...

Hey guys, with all the new fast times being posted, I would make one humble request - can you please take the extra minute or two to type in the info on dragtimes? If some of the fields are filled in and others are skipped over (but maybe should've been filled in), it isn't as useful to compare some runs against others.

Anyway, just a request, take it or leave it... TIA.

Excellent run and I'm pretty sure it'll improve a lot more. Being in the Bay Area, one needs to go to Thunderhill north or Infineon to track and requires a lot of planning. So, I don't know what my car does in terms of speed and time, but, based on your mods, it's exciting to know what potentially my car can achieve.

I'm amazed with just the 5 mods I've done to my car posting back to back runs of 12.1 @114 MPH, 75 degrees, full interior. No cooling mods either! Gotta love these AMG drivetrains!

Mods are:

Code-3 SC Pulley
LET Jerrytune - Tuned for 1/4 mile
Short Ram intake
Deleted rear cat/s & resonator
Nitto drag radials
