Arrow hmm..

They look much better thant he ones you previously had but just FYI, the lip you photochopped into the second pic isnt going to be that big, according to what I'm told, 3 inch lip is max you can go for the rear...um, i give them a 6/6.5 but thats just me...

Hope you enjoy your wheels!!!

You have chosen wisely. I am no longer worthy of being in this thread.

My car is silver. I appreciate everyones input on the wheels. I hope they turn out good. I was just having second thoughts on the mesh style on a 4-door. After ordering them, I thought that maybe I should have went with the 447r or the 841r. Here's the setup I'm going to be running:

Front: 8.5" 235/35/19
Rear: 10" 265/30/19

wrapped in Michellin PS2's.

Nice. Of course 841r look amazing, but not worth the extra money, in my opinion. I think the 441's will look awesome. 10" rear is pretty aggressive. Do you plan on rolling/shaving the fenders?

No... Ben at Wheel Boutique said they'll fit just fine using the 265/30. Should I be concerned that 10" is too big to fit? If so, I need to revise my order before it makes it into production.

I don't know enough about the C55 to say for sure, but perhaps ask Neal (BlackC230Coupe) and he can give you a better answer. I just wanted to make sure you had considered it because most people tend to go with 9.5" rears and I've even heard of people having rubbing issues with those. Another factor to consider is whether or not you have lowered or plan to lower your car.

Hmmm, thats really surprising that Ben said 10s will be ok. I know many people with C-classes that bought HREs from him and he said anything bigger then a 9.5 will require fender rolling. I am sure it will since my car lowered with 9.5s in the rear rubs on 1 side under a load. Unless you dont lower the car, u may be ok.

Thanks... I'll check with him (Ben) tomorrow. The more and more I look at the 545r's the more and more I think I should have gone with those. I found this pic online... a C32 AMG sporting the 545R's

I agree. Standard 5 spokes (HRE or not) are too damn plain. The 441r will look great!

Too Busy

Sorry Dragon, don't mean to be a wet blanket. It looks too busy for me. I have yet to see a better looking rim than the stock type IV. That's just me.

I like them on C55 , as most recently I have been reading hundreds of rims mods and want to get something truly luxury and aggressive for my C55.
So my mind is 'tuned' up for extraordinary rims.
Bet those are 20" right?
My only concern is they can be seen as 'M-sport looking' , so make sure a Benz never carry a BMW rim

The hawk- LMAO!!!!! That completely made my day! I agree, HREs all the way. Another suggestion, order body color covers for the orange side reflectors from evosport. Then you should have one clean C55!

OMG this is one old thread!!! I've gone through 2 sets of HRE's, supercharged the C55, sold it, bought a E55, and bought HRE's for the E55 since posting this thread!!! LOL. God I've spent a lot of money.
