I've had my C32 since 2/02. Great car in my opinion. Has had a few problems, mostly electrical, but all were fixed under warranty. 74,000 miles, with extended 100,000 mile warranty.

early 2002 model, built in late october 01. 41k miles, some problems here and there but none major. fuel pump went south, fried alternator / repeated dying battery setup, few lights off here and there. but, so far no real major problems. hope it stays that way. i think i probably have one of the earlier c32's but probably not as many miles to correspond with that build date. so far, the c32 has held up pretty well, despite some electrical annoyances.
i am curious to see others experience with high mileage. wondering if this motor really is strong enough in the long run, espeically to sustain possible pulley/ecu combination...thanks

Got mine in September 2001. Just had new pads and rotors last month, at 22,000 miles. Steering wheel up/down adjustment motor stripped and had to be replaced, and a ventilation flap in the dash was sticking. Otherwise I bring it in once a year for a/b service.

2007 E550 and 2007 335i
I have owned mine since 12/01 now 47,000 miles
Problems included air pump or relay failure and alternator replaced all repaired free.
Still unresovled is an intermittant 1-2 and 2-3 transmission jerk and a vibration when the car has sat overnite for the first 3 or 4 miles. I have proved to the dealer it is not the tires as we jacked it up overnight and then drove it the vibration was still there. My next service will be the last chance to fix this stuff under warranty.

2002 C32 AMG Orion Blue Charcoal/Blue
My C32 was delivered in 10/2001 and I have roughly 29,000 miles. After numerous track days and autocrosses the only real problem I have had is the air pump. I have replaced brakes but that isn't a fault of the car.
As long as the reliability stays good, I'll be hanging on to the car.
