AMG Leather Quality

I know Harris has posted this before somewhere, but how has the durability of the leather stood up in your C32? It doesn't seem as durable as the BMW I traded in. It was supple and smelled nice, but it seems more prone to cracking/folding, more than the leather in the 320. How has it been for you guys?

I think AMG uses Nappa leather. It does seem to be a little thinner, softer (and more delicate) than the leather in our ML.

Yes, the nappa leather used in AMG vehicles is also used in BMW M vehicles. Go figure.

All of them, as much as I can...
My CLK55 AMG's leather got scratched just by a button on my daughter's back jeans pocket. Zymol won't take it out.

I recommend leatherique for this type of leather then followed by Zaino Z10 for UV protection. you can get these products at these sites. leatherique really softens up the leather and lessens the appearance of wrinkles and scratches. Nothing can get rid of these but it will make it look better. These products also leave a very matte finish. I hate shiney leather surfaces, looks very cheap.

here is another before after pic applied on a caddilac, notice how clean the leather is and how matte the finish is compared to before. This product really is amazing.

the top pic is the before, the bottom is the after.

I just read through the website, they have quite a few products. Rejuvinator oil, Prestine clean, Dye, Prepping agent, crack filler.... Which product(s) shall we buy to get the best results?

Most people do not like the smell, but i like it. When I follow up with Zaino Z10, it smells pretty much like new leather, i love it. I have not tried it on any AMG vehicles but have tried it on our mercedes ML320 and it made all the rough spots extremely smooth and soft and left a very matte finish, looked better than it did when we picked up the car new. I bought the rejuvenator oil and pristine clean. What I do is work the rejuvenator oil in with my hands using about 2 handfuls per seat. Let it sit overnight without using the car in a hot climate but out of sunlight. Then in the morning you will see all the oil has been soaked in the leather and you are left with a sticky residue on the leather. Wipe the leather down with a cloth and pristine clean. Then I use a damp cloth followed by a dry microfiber to dry off the seat. I then use Zaino Z10 applied with a terry towel and let it soak in for 15 minutes then buff it out. It works great! If you have any more questions please post them.
