Bunch of wires next to amp in trunk - rear passenger side

If you remove the liner to the inside of the trunk in the passenger side, the amp is mounted at the very back. There are a bunch of wires back there, right next to the amp. Are there supposed to be extra wires in that bunch? I noticed that I have an extra wire with a flat 4-pin adapter. And I also noticed another extra circular cable, something that reminds me of a coaxial cable connector. Both of these wires aren't connected to anything. Are they supposed to be extra? If so, what are they supposed to be used for?

Thanks.

Ohh okay. So the flat 4-pin connector is for phone if I had one. Have any idea what that extra circle coaxial looking connector is supposed to be used for? I can't really see it since its bunched way down, but I can feel it.

Actually, another related question. Since Teleaid parts seem to be installed as standard in the 2002 sedans, which mine is. I have the SOS, "i", and wrench buttons. Shouldn't that extra connector actually be connected to something? I didn't subscribe to it though, although I did buy the car used. I understand the phone wouldn't be because I don't have the phone option. I do have comand though.

yes the teleaid woud be connected and the phone coax would be disconected, if you do put in a phone system you wound need to put a splitter on the teleaid coax and the phone coax.
