Question 235/35/19, 265/30/19

those w/ this tire set-up, what are you guys/gals running for tire pressure?? and would the pressure be different if I ran 8" Fronts and 9" Rears, in oppose to someone running the same tire set-up, but running 8.5"F and 9.5"R?? ...I've done a search, but to no avail....thx for any help/recommendations...

It varies slightly from brand to brand. Please refer to the sidewalls of your tire for the appropriate pressure range.

I thought the same thing about various brands, but the sidewall only tells what "MAX" pressure not to exceed, but doesn't say what is recommended or what's the optimal psi......

BennyZ, Brabus;

thx for the info, question though...do you both do the same psi for both front and rear?? isn't there a variance since they're a staggered set-up..similar to the stock set-up where they recommend 33F/37R for the 225/40/18, 245/35/18???

Have to double-check later...but last I remembered I had 38 in the rear, front should be the same but I'll bust out my pressure gauge to make sure

COOL! Thx for taking the time to check for me Brabus, cuz I know it can be a pain unscrewing the hidden valve stem covers on HRE's

you're running a higher psi for the FRONTS??? I always thought on a staggared set-up that the rears get the higher PSI???

Having a bit lower pressure on the rear will give you better traction during launch.

I'm running 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 with 39 psi front and 40 psi in the rear. Hopefully the air will protect the rim when I actually do hit holes. Then again, too much air might actually cause the tire to bubble if I hit something hard enough instead. Its pretty harsh at what I have it at, but when I actually do hit holes, it feels a little more solid. I used to have it at 36 psi front and 38 psi rear.

It doesnt matter what size wheels, widths or tires you have. It goes by the weight of the car etc.. No matter what tires you have, even 15", you should still go by what it says on the inside of fuel door. I go 2 PSI over what it reads on that door.
