i rang quaife england today and asked about a lsd for the c32, they said no problem if a minimum of 10 units are ordered. the price would be approx £800($1400 at current exchange rates) or less with a larger order and would take 3-4 months to complete . all manufacturing would take place over here and orders for usa would be shipped to quaife america .at this price i am deff interested and if others here are serious about this then you can add me to the list . any further questions either post them and i'll ring them and post answers or you can call them direct (+44 1732 741144 )

Vadim, can you comment on the status of the Quiafe LSD?

Could you give further details on your custom Evosport 40% lock LSD advertised on your web site for $4,495.00 that is available to all V6 W203's?
As far as I know first units are still due in January. I will not be able to confirm until next week.

We can build a Salisbury style diff from a stock one. Problem is - we need your stock diff for about 3-4 weeks, which means car is down unless one can find a core on junk yard.

Timberman, if you can get some parts to them, this will expedite the process. Quaife NA's rep has been very busy and out of town alot at trade shows. They have indicated that they are going to make a batch of LSD's themselves and market them. They have stated that they are producing units matching those vehicles with the 210 axle. Expressing your interest over there in the UK will only help and assist bring this product to market. I will fund 100% deposit direct to Quaife England if that is what it takes. So will a hand full of others I have been corresponding with. Their stated pricing is good and if they make more, pricing should fall right where I previously indicated within the 995.00-1,195.00 range.

Does this apply to W210 E55's do they use the 210mm ring & pinion or not. If they are availible for the W210 E55 AMG i would definitely be interested.

My understanding is that the W210 E55 uses the same 210mm axle. Have your dealer check your VIN number for confirmation of such.

Vadim, any update?

in contact with quaife again today, i'm now being told that the production of the lsd's for c32/c55 are deff going ahead as vadim has mentioned, but the completion date looks like being a little later than expected, now looking at end of feb possibly march

looks like its going to be a one off production run for shippment to the usa but they will be keeping a sample so future runs could be possible

i shall be ordering mine from this run and anyone else living in the uk who is interested should contact quaife in writing

I'm in. I've been asking around on other threads about the LSD and if this Quaife system has a limited lifetime warranty for under $3K then I'm ready to write a check right now.

I don't think it will work on our coupe. I think it has to do with different gearing.

The diffs are are here.

The one on the left - V9 is suppose to fit 210 ring gear, one on the right - V7 is 215.

210 is suppose to fit C32s and C55s. This will be confirmed shortly.

215 is a smaller diff that might work on non-AMG C and E class.

For pricing please contact evosport - 714.901.3100

I'll see if I can find someone around you that has an SLK32. I would bring in my car in a second but I live in the San Jose area.

Congratulations and best of luck to you in your new endevors. Maybe now you can start working on those camber plates Need some $?

Since the Quaife's just arrived Stateside, you must have taken that picture at AutoTech's shop. Looking forward to seeing how they work in the various cars. They could also make their way into the 300C/SRT6.
