AMG do not make these items, They are an aftermarket product.

It's the best damned badge out there......I just purchased from 4-AMG's-Mario was trustworthy and responsive.....Makes the care feel hand made!!!

I could be wrong but I think the quality of 4AMG's is better than the ebay offering, hence the premium price.......

the one on ebay said that you need to use a Double sided tape on it. I have the kit that I bought from Formymercedes would that kit work with this badges?

here is the one I ordered from e-bay. It's quite big and it does not have any mounting kit.. first I thought I might have to use it for poker weight.. 
Comparing to the black ones, the one I got is much bigger in size. Well, I'm gonna have to order the mounting kit along with another emblem..

I just received mine. It is not the AMG, but the flat Mercedes emblem. Two things that surprised me: (1) I was surprised by the size, aren't the emblems supposed to be relatively small, i.e. approximately the size of the face of a large mens watch? (2) The actual emblem is made out of plastic, I am assuming the originals are made out of metal? I paid ~30 bucks and bought it off ebay

My local dealer must be charging a lot more than others, because the total price through my dealer was $405... WTF??? The grill alone was $329.
