Fog Lamp H7 Extreme White Replacement
1) Will the bulb or the case burn up because it won't be able to take the heat even though the quality of PIAA is tops?
2) Will the casing have a blue reflection from the bulb because there's no projector?
Thoughts?
thats what happened to mine, I replaced 4 fog lamps already coz the lens cracked when it touched water while having my fog lights on (this only happens to aftermarket bulb coz they are so hot)..
derrick lui: Hummm....I thought I read something on the forum about this. so what are you using now?
What about using PIAA H7 Star white #13927 Star White...Lower Wattage and maybe not as bright but still white 3800k?
The PIAA H7 Extreme White Plus #17655 comes in at 4000k and are hotter....
Thoughts?
What are you guys doing to make a better match? I don't want to burn up my C55 round housings?
Suggestions???????
they look nice. but just I have to be really careful not to forget to turn off my fogs when it rains or getting a car wash
