MBenzNL august trip – now with some specials

The next MBenzNL US installation trip is scheduled for August. This trip will go to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver – other destinations might be possible but for now we stick to these 4 westcoast areas.

This time we offer a couple of modifications at a special discount price – these specials are ONLY valid for the upcoming US trip and ONLY when deposits are received before august 06 AND valid for those who order a self install kit before that same august 06.
We will (off course) pass on these specials to those who already paid their deposit for the upcoming US trip.

For the W203 we offer the following specials:
- refurbished eurospec D2B comand (for the 203s up to 2005): 1450USD incl 3 months warranty (normally 1600USD)
- new 2003 US spec D2B comand (for the 203s up to 2005): 1850USD incl 12 month warranty (normally 2000USD)
- new 2004 US spec D2B SAT-compatible comand (for the 203s up to 2005): 2000USD incl. 12 months warranty (normally 2200USD)
- new updated grills for the 203 coupe: 75USD (normally 110USD – and excl. installation)

Furthermore we still offer the usual modifications (mail us for pricing):
- new power folding sidemirrors with headlight switch for 203s with or without a memory driverside seat…the 2005 and up 203s will have the ability to autofold the mirrors when locking the car
- euro anti blind spot (convex) mirror glasses with auto diming driverside feature
- full parktronic front and rear
- new MOST based CD changer for the 2005s and up
- refurbished or new D2B based CD changers for the 203s up to 2005
- euro bumperstrips (without the US specific sidemarkers – NOT available for the 55s)
- updated (clear halogen) headlights, updated (coupe) taillights, updated mirror blinkers, updated coupe grill
- bi xenon headlights
- UHI and/or MHI (integrated) phonekits
- Ipod kits (for the 2005s and up)
- eurospec MOST based DVD comand (for the 2005s and up)
- updated armrests
- cruise control switch with limiter feature (as currently discussed in the 203 section)
…and whatever else that was offered by Mercedes as optional equipment…

Most of the people here are probably familiar with us and the way we work…for those who aren’t, please do a search on MBenzNL to read up on experiences that people had with us in the past.
Feel free to email us with whatever question you have or with possible orders: info@MBenzNL.com

Are there any functional diferences between a refurbished eurospec D2B comand (what year are they?) and the new 2003 US spec D2B comand (other than those listed on your website?)
I'm in the market for one or the other for this trip, I'm just not sure which.
Thanks
Ian

The differences between Euro and US are mentioned on our website. The difference between refurbished and new is, that refurbished means used, cleaned, repaired if needed and updated with the latest software. New is just new... nothing has been done to those units.

Hi
I think I phrased the question badly, I was trying to ask, as the US COMANDs are 2003, are there any differences between the 2002 & 2003 COMANDs?
Thanks

When in SF, CA?

When, in August, are you planning, specifcally to be in CA, San Fransisco?
After the Aug 15th or before the Aug13th?

Any update as I'm trying to work out if this visit will fit with my current plans, I'd like Steve to install a Euro Comand & Aux input but it still depends on where and when he will be in the Bay Area.
Thanks

Steve booked his flight to and from CA - he will be in the States from August 13 till August 28. People still have time to confirm their order, but August 6 is the deadline!

Steve will probably decide next week about when he will be in what area, and for how many days. We have to wait till August 6-7 before we can schedule anything, due to the fact that we need to know the total workload.

... and that's all I can say about it right now... Sorry.

Just a reminder for those who have been thinking about getting some modifications done in the LA area, the SF area, seattle or vancouver and haven't confirmed yet:

I will be in the US during week 3 and 4 of august and will have to ship (and occasionally even order) all the requested parts upfront...I am currently still in singapore and will only have a very short week at home to get the US trip prepared.

So for those who do want to get something installed and haven't confirmed yet - this is the time to do so; thanks.

greetingz from singapore,
