I could not believe it. They put that aggresive front bumper from the sl65 and slk55 on the C55 in that first picture when you enter the website where the man walks around the C55 as he's checking it out. It even has the gill slits on the front sides. It looks soooooo hot! Anyone know if this is how they will come now or if that will be an option for the 06 models?

thats just that optional package i forgot what they call it in germany. did u also notice it has the 6pot front and 4 pot rear brakes? some interior changes as well. it was posted before. point is, its not standard on the C55, and that package is not avaliable in the US.

That stuff is all optional in Euroland.
Us in Texas (America as you call it) don't get that kinda stuff easily

That's the bumper from the C55 Formula 1 Safety Car (www.mbspy.com/slk55amgsc.htm) . You can order it directly from AMG Manufaktur or I believe Hartonmotorworks might be able to source it. Other C55 safety car upgrades include an LSD or the "Nurburgring suspension.

c55 performance package. has a lot of unique stuff, like carbon-fiber c55 rear spoiler, the safety-car-style front bumper, black/white recaros, carbon trim, etc. all by amg manufaktur, optional in europe but not in US i believe. someone posted pics and info here before.

Damn it why is it that the US has to complicate things! Why can't we order that option on w203's in general or at least the C55. Whats the big deal, but if you really wanted that bumper here in the US.....could you really get it from those manufaktur amg and those other companies you guys mentioned? Or would it be too much of a hassle?

You can get it, it's not so much of a hassle as customs is lately. It shouldn't be too hard though, give it a shot.

I have an 06 on order and none of those options were available to me. They did quote my the accurate option prices BEFORE they posted them on the website, so they seem to know what they are doing....
