have not haggled yet. They were offering an incredible lease on 05's ( 125 money factor) but I decided to buy outright so I fugured I'd be better off in an 06 optioned exactly the way I want it. Furthermore the lease on my Land Rover isn't over until December so a few months of waiting won't kill me. I'm buying the C55 mainly because this 39 month lease on my Land Rover has seemed like an eternity. This way in a couple of years when the next great thing hits I'll just trade in with out a lease to worry about. I'm sure I'll lose my shirt but I have other shirts anyway.

Alot of cars
The length of the waiting period depends on the size of your dealership. The more car allocation your dealer receives, the faster you should get your ordered car. But sometimes bigger dealers also have more ordered customers, so it's hard to gauge unless you ask specifically when their next open allocation is for the C55. Normal sales guys probably can't look up that information, it will have to be done by one of the managers looking at the "NetStar" database.

Maybe I'll be sooner rather than later. I ordered from Ray Catena MB in Edison, NJ. They are number 2 in the country according to the salesman. He said 2.5 to 3 mos. so we'll see.
