Where's the beef?
I got a great deal on an 05' C230 sedan, so I grabbed it to save miles on the C55 (I'm at 10K now)... I find myself running the changing yellow to red traffic lights here and there and getting high beamed from behind, as I merge into traffic because I'm overestimating that little supercharged 4.. I guess that what happens when you become spoiled with V8 power. Both are C-classes but two COMPLETELY different animals.. The tradeoff is at least better fuel economy....

That makes no sense at all. My buddy has one, I think they are great. I have 12K on mine probably another 5-6K before I bail on it. ZO6 is definetly going to get a hard look.

Started with an '05 230 K and must agree. However, the car is pretty capable with a lot of right foot depression. Perhaps a simple ASP pulley may enhance the driving experience enough.

Do you guys know how "Action Potentials" work? After being stimulated, they undergo an all or none response. I can compare the accelerator dynamics of a C230 to an action potential. I press the gas half way and nothing, 3/4 way and still nothing.... Then I floor it but I get more power than I needed... It reminds me of the Porsche 944 Turbo S I used to have.. There's no replacement for displacement guys..

Heh, heh; got rid of mine after 3 months. SpeedtuningUSA coupled with a ASPracing pulley may make it more tolerable if they tuned the drive by wire inputs appropriately. Car was good for building the right calve muscle, though.
