2 reasons - 1) I'd rather have them done by HRE 2) There aren't any good shops in Vegas (that I know of). I've seen some of the work and I'm not impressed.

Bring them to LA for three days. Meridian did a nice job on my wheels.

correct me if I'm wrong, isn't it some other bodyshop where HRE sends to??? it's a lot of $$$ that you are saving if you can find one.

Dragon, what are the weights of the front and rear wheels? Any idea how much lighter they are than the stock 18's?

Thx.

I don't know the weights, you would have to call HRE for that info.

Hey Dragon,

You know you can just have the centers powder coated black on you current wheels. This is the same thing HRE will do on a new set you purchase with black centers.

I have a couple questions -

1) Can you remove the centers without taking out the tire?

2) Does HRE just sell the middle piece of the rim?

I don't see why you could not leave the tire on, I have never tried it but the bolts will come off fine without removing it. It could cause the wheel to not line up due to stress on the rim but to be honest I dont know.

Yes you can purchase HRE components. I have a set on another car that had the barrels swapped out by HRE thats one of the good things if you damage a wheel.
I have over the years powder coated a few sets its the same thing HRE will and gives you the option of swapping up colors latter in life if you decide.

Hope that helps.
