Finally! got the the HRE!

After all those hard decisions which wheels to get, I finally got new shoes for my baby. The tires are P-Zero Neuro. I was going to get the resonator off today but I found out that the ss pipe that I got from EvoSports is 3mm short in length.. trust me.. I doubt if I can get an exchange or refund from them.. Mike, please pm me or reply for this matter.
dan.

Nice shoes! So what are the specs on it? And how come the lips on the back looks like it's only 2" inches?

I actually sold them to my friend who drives 04 e55. He painted them in black and he did not need spacers for rear. only 3mm??? for front. It looks great on e55, too. Thanks guys.

I was wondering that too when I got them. I just called HRE and they said the perfect fitment for c55s is front lip size of 1.5'' and rear 2.5''. They said 8-series has slightly thinner lips and the 5-series.

That's interesting. I know LorisercClass also has a HRE setup but his rear lip i believe is fatter. What did you get 19x8.5F and 19x9.5R?

Yes they are 8.5f, 9.5r. Lorinzercclass' HRE does look deeper.. That's why I called HRE. Did he roll rear fenders to fit his rims with 3'' lips..???

Don't think he rolled his fenders and i also think he's got a 19x9F and 19x10R setup. Where did you buy your wheels from?

With 10" rears and that kind of tuck, he must have rolled the fenders...

man love your car black on black... great choice on wheels... 841rs are my all time favorites...you should of gone with a 10 in the rear to get the massive rear LIPage like enri (lorinserCclass) .. and that only thing that cought me off gaurd is the chrome mirror cover and you can black out the side markers... but nice car bro

This is how axis rims look on e55. I think these rims would look good on any black car. Thanks for the comments guys~

so evosport sold you a ss pipe that's too short or is it possible you cut too much off when removing the resonator?

i haven't done the resonator removal so i'm not quite sure how it works.

Before cutting the resonator off, I matched the ss pipe and the resonator part. If I cut it, the ss pipe would be so close to touching the cut-ends of the downpipe but not enough.

Whoa! that lip is like not even 2"???? btw, HRE does not normally know **** about the lip sizes, its the dealers that do and measure and give the specs. I have a 3" lip on my 9.5 rears. I know you could have also with the correct offset. Just like HRE says its not possible to fit a 4" lip on the E55, i can do it! Its just i am sure the place you ordered with has never sold a set of HREs for a c-class or if they did, they dont measure and use HREs offset which normally gets you a small lip.

Very nice wheels tho!

I agree w/ Nealioo here. It really depends on the shop if they contact HRE direct and tell them exactly how they want them w/the right offsets. When I first got the wheels like 2-3 yrs ago(yup first 841's installed on a c class :p) the shop owner went back and forth w/them untill they got 3", I wanted 3.5 but they couldnt. I am happy though they clear rear BBK's and they are 10".

Have you tried simoncells.com or mobilebee.com? You can usually get them for pretty cheap on these sites and the sites are actually reliable. You can try ebay but I find it risky
