Amg Air Box

Just a quick question... I just picked up an AMG air box from my boi Dragon.... I was wondering what the air box consist of and if I will get any performance gain on my car... I am buying it strictly for cosmetics purposes but if i have ~some~ gains that would be even better.....

Christian...

The airbox should contain 2 filter boxes, 2 intake tubes, a Front center cover, 2 filter box covers, clips etc... and 2 filters. Expect about 6-10 HP

Check out Euroteckmotorsports.com (the C55 filter install)

230- you are welcome. AFIAK the intake tubes are the same size as the restriction from these parts comes from the intake opening size in the grille and not the tube diameter.

Sorry about the cryptic message. YES, you will be fine with the 500 intake tubes. Actually, I remember reading somewhere on the S55 message boards that they are being used in place of the stock 55 tubes because of more flow or something. They should have no prob hooking up to the airbox
