HAHAHA... I will but that's not going to happen until it cools down out here (october or november). 60 degree temps with good traction = 11 sec. 1/4 for me

Hey Dragon, I will be in Vegas in NOV for the SEMA show. They normally have the track available for us for that week weather permitting and the prep is a full NHRA 1320 top fuel event prep. Its almost as good as what we run on during an event and its a thousand times better then what most non pros will ever run on. If they do it this year I am sure I could get you a few passes or if you like I bet I could find a certain PRO driver to give it a spin

Definitely!!!! I would be very appreciative if you can make that happen and I would be more than willing to let a pro driver (I'm guess that's you) make a pass in the car.

p.s. don't forget to vote for me :p - http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...slip-6424.html

I will call them up today and make sure its on for this year and get a spot then. I can normally find a pretty good number in most cars, driven every thing from my 13.05 C55 when it was stock to low 6 sec 200+mph Pro RWD cars. With your trap the car should go mid 11s.

Also if your interested I could most likely get a pass for you to the show, Its a industry only event but I normally end up with extra passes. If you have never been its a car lovers dream on of the biggest industry shows all year and the one were everyone brings there big hitters for the year.

Vadim,

Will you have Stage IV by then? How much HP? That car of yours is already an absolute monster!

Am I interested... ABSOLUTELY!!! I'd love to go! I've never been to a SEMA show but I've heard it's off the charts.

A small MB meet would be awesome! I have a couple friends out here with MB's that would definitely show. Let's do it.

James: Stage IV will be new intercooler, ported kompressor housing, full-length headers and ported heads. I do not know if I will have time to have all of the pieces on the car by SEMA. I can not find any junk yards that have used heads available. I might have to use my own, and park the car for a couple weeks while the heads are being done.

To keep up I will need to be in low 400s, which I think with current boost level is possible.

Josh: Lets chat as we get closer to SEMA. If you want to go, go on www.sema.org and register now. It is only $15 now, vs. $40 after October 1st.

there's also a drag strip at san diego's qualcomm stadium (where the chargers play)...but it only runs 1/8 mile track because of limited space. on the plus side...the weather is pretty cool out there...expecially at night...so you'll get a lot of nice cool dense air.

Dragon,

Nice modded sedan with the Kleeman kit. I'm getting the 550 Hp package installed on my new SLK55 on 9/12 .

I think your car is approx 260lbs lighter than an E55 (your curb weight should be about 3,830 lbs). Here is a site with your car specs if you are interested. You should be running about a 12.2 1/4 & trapping 117 mph (on average). This time/speed is on par with a 405 Hp Z06. I'm betting if you have more favorable conditions (not so dayam hot outside & a good launch, you will see high elevens at 120 mph). Hope this helps:

See ya,

No... cutting the rear bumper was not required. Direct bolt-up.

Waiting until it cools off a little bit to run it again. Probably early November. It should be around 60 degrees at that time.
