i dont know those grills looks almost the same. if i had the older grill i wouldve just kept it instead of wasting money on a grill that looks almost the same. only people(C55 owners) that are into clk grills will actually notice a difference on the street. but hey as long as ur happy.

Finally, my account is activated so i can reply to threads! any who... I just yesterday bought a c230 coupe, and still trying to get familiar with the ins and outs of MB now. I was a devoted VW enthusiast for 6 years, couldn't take the issues any more so bit the bullet. On to why im replying, i have a question.

Will that grille you just got fit in the c230's as well? Looks the same size, but i could very well be wrong.

I think the 2006 CLK grills look amazing. Dunno why, but i noticed a huge difference. More like the car as a whole is changed then just the grill, i think more people might spot it than before... but that's just me

Interested in getting the CL grille for my C55. Any advice on where I can get the goodies? These are plastic right? Anyone with experience buying this kinda stuff from eBay, esp from sellers in Canada?

The ebay grills wont fit the C55 they are for the rest of the c-class. Those planning on adding the AMG flat emblem, most dont fit right, they stick up a little on one side, not flush. If you have this problem, take a dremel with a grinding stone and grind a little of metal away in the hole. Will sit fine afterwards.
