How is it possible to replace the speakers or anything else for that matter being that everything is connected via fiber optics... I do know that adding a sub is possible...

Actually you can install those speakers but you will need seperate amps for the interior speakers and subs that you might want to be installing in your car. I have also looked into it and it is def possible just takes a bit of time since you want to you all you stock things such as the fiber-optic CD changer, you will need to start your wiring in AFTER the factory amp...hope that helped!

JL subs still are on top of a pretty big heap and respected quite well within the audio community but head for the W6 and up class if you can, the voicecoil engineering in such compact dimensions are just incredible especially the power output it produces are simply awesome...as for amps, it could be JL's, Alpines, ... you name it but money has a factor in this as well.
Interior speakers, well thats up to how much you wanna spend, the MB quarts are very good, JL are cheaper and produce just a little less, but DynaAudio is amazing for the speaker but be ready to open that wallet up for any of these components, hehe

Wat size?? I have system 220 and upgrading to 7 inch mid. I think you will need some custom speaker pod. Those Dyn will love big RMS. Oh and it's very nice too, warm and mellow

For European vehicle i'll suggest getting an Eton component, specially designed to fit into those tight door skin. It will match if not better than Dyn in term of sound quality and yet sligthly cheaper, it's german made too. There are lots of good amps nowadays, if u want absolute SQ get Tru Technology, Zapco, Arcaudio and the likes.
