Are you getting front AMG brakes too? What kind of wheels do you have?

It's a C32. The stock AMGs are on the front. The wheels are 18" AMG Style IV (C55).

The rears are bolt-on. I don't have the part #'s and final $ yet. I'll let you know more after I pick up the car and square up with the shop.

oh man, that looks awesome. Definitely keeps us posted on cost.

the rears look bigger than the front though, wont that throw off the braking?

nice CLK55 rear brakes

IMO you should get the 05 CLK55 6-pot front calipers too to beef up the look for the front

looks nice, but it'd bother me cuz it doesn't match the fronts

The stock rears didn't match the stock fronts... that's for sure. I think it's a huge improvement, especially over that ugly stock caliper. MB should have had matching brakes in the rear from the start - if only for asthetics.

But to your point, as soon as the front rotors need to be replaced, I will replace that setup as well (with the six piston AMG's.)

If those are actual AMG calibers how come you didn't get the AMG rotors for them? If they are real AMG cals could you post the part# and the shop that got them for you?

Response: This is blando. You deleted my entire message, the majority of which was a response to the other member's questions.

If I recall the message I wrote correctly, I was saying that both the front and the rears are direct bolt ons for the W203. 6-pot in front and 4-pot in the rear, along with cross-drilled, slotted, and vented rotors. And it's all AMG OEM equipment.

Anyway, if anybody wants the contact information of the shop that did the work, please PM me or e-mail me at blando333@yahoo.com.

It may be possible, but may not be worth the effort. I went with the W209 stock rears as they were a direct bolt-on for the W203. Plus the shop got them for me at a very good price (relative to getting them myself).

yea...they came with the 2005 CLK55 which got the 6-pot front and 4-pot rear and the quad exhaust upgrade over the 2003-2004 CLK55.

I wonder how much for the whole set cost. The Brabus Alcon 6-pot front and 4-pot rear are like $10k plus retail or soemthing...made expensive.
