Transmission "M" mode

Changing the button to C / S / M does nothing.
Reflashing the TCU would make no sense at all since the paddle shift function is buried deep inside the instrument cluster, EIS and gear selector. The software for the gear selector is not even available within the production dates for the C32.
Lenkradtippen <- steering button is one of the key menu items in the gear selector.
The rest of it has not been done by me but I know there is more to it.
Reflashing the TCU sounds really unlikely since the C55 uses an W211 transmission and the C32 does not.
So I really dont know what your friend is talking about given you also need the steering wheel buttons to control M-mode properly. If he is simply using it in tiptronic + M mode then he really doesnt have any new functions.
