My latest mod.... UNLIMITED STOPPING POWER
I figured the stock brembo brakes that came on my C32 just didnt cut it no more... they were too heavy and teh car just doesnt stop quite like an M3 does. Its time to do something about it... so I did.... Neal @ Euroteck Motorsports and I got our thoughts together and came up with the perfect solution in the form of 4 large red objects!! :v
My C32R now sits on big Stoptech brakes on all 4s. 355mm front and 328mm rear. These brakes stop on a dime!! 2pc floating slotted rotors. ST40 4 large piston calipers on all 4. Some teaser pics.... more to come soon!! UNLIMITED STOPPING POWER!!!

Thanks to Neal @ www.euroteckmotorsports.com for hookin it up!! These brakes are the shizznnaattt!!

Just admit that you bought them because they look cool. Nothing wrong with that reason. Why do you think your stock brakes were too heavy. What problem were you experiencing with this extra weight? The C32 is heavier than an M3 and has different weight distribution and still won't brake better than an M3. BBK's don't stop better than stock brakes on just a few stops. You are limited to the tire's adhesion capabilities. It is repeated brake application under threshold conditions where a BBK will exceed the stock capabilities due to their ability to shed heat better. Long discussion on this elsewhere. Nice brake kit though. Did you wash the rotors before installation and pad bedding? Or is that just water rust after washing? What pads are you running front and rear? Why not the new six pistion front caliper unless it won't fit on 18's?

Nice set of calipepers! You made an excellent choice in slotted rotors. Each time you stop the slots act like a blanchard grinder lapping your pads. Very smooth. Car looks great.

no issues with the renntech wheels and fitment.. RENNtech made the wheels to accomidate big brakes, I still have enough clearance b/w the caliper and teh back of hte rim spoke to clean the back of the rim. The stockers wont fit anymore but, hey why put hte stockers back on when im faster on the RENNTech Monolites!!
this is an inconspicuous go fast mod... i have done lighter wheels and lighter brakes... i think I have reduced as much rotating mass as possible!!!!

if you have ABS lateral braking isn't affected much by the tires as your brakes are. you shouldnt be having to lock up your tires to come to a complete stop anyways.
oh btw Neal... thanx for the brakes man, I love these!! Now we have to slap a set of yellow stoptechs on your C55 next!!!

What's a C32R?
Why not the RENNtech BBK? It would have been a much better match to the tuner look you are after especially with the windshield banner.
The C32 is so front heavy, the front brakes do most of the work. The rear BBK upgrades by any manufacturer are mostly for cosmetics. Don't know the weight loss if any in the rear considering that the stock rear rotors and calipers are significantly smaller than the upgrade. Could be a wash. And no one is talking about locking up the brakes to stop.
