E46 M3 vs C-biscuit

I was pulling out of my neighborhood and a Laguna Seca Blue M3 pulls out ahead of me. Instantly I knew what was about to take place. He was turning in the same Direction I was going to turn so it was working out perfectly. Here's where things get sour, we sit at this this stop sign for about 3 minutes, he's talking on his cell not paying attention. So finally I pop it in N and rev so he'll take notice. He does. He finds and opening and smashes out, I do the following as well. we come to a light and I'm stuck behind the M3 again. Except this time when it turns green he launches but the entire time I am right there about a car behind, I move over to the left lane and we are side by side, finally when in 3rd I pull away from him no problem.

after I passed him he kept following me for about 4-5 miles and then a Porsche Carrera got involve, things were just starting to get fun when we hit the horrible snowbird / oldfolk traffic of Palm Desert. I am pumped on what could be Neighborly rivalry, and also pumped that I didn't buy an M3 a couple months ago (almost did- Laguna Seca) However the M3 was extremely Loud but it just didn't seem to move. The engine sounded great but the movement certainly wasn't impressive. I was impressed by my C32 in 3rd. Maybe it was just one of those good days that the car just wants go - c32-biscuit

What else is new, right? My buddy (trekman, with a C32) and I (E46 M3) always go at it with the same results everytime. I don't think trekman has ever seen the rear side of my car. I don't know why we always go at it since I always know the results!

No, I don't own a C32, but I'm a big fan. One of my close friends owns one. I have an M3.

I'm not sweatin' it....I knew I'd be getting heat somewhere. I am an M3 owner and I love my car. I also love the C32/C55, and the E55! There is nothing wrong with liking both brands IMO. I truly appreciate both.

off the subject -

hey Trekman - I was considering the TSW 19" Bremmas and almost ordered them last week, however my concerns are if they rub and also I keep getting huge differences in pricing from diffrent retailers, the lowest has been $1739 from eurotek and local vendors as well. Can you post some pics of your car or send some to me via email - vic32amg@hotmail.com - - we have the same color and etc just wanted to see how they look -

thanks
Vic

I would send you some pics today after work. I did have a rubbing problem that was fix with some shaving and grinding, you might not have this problem it just depends on the car. euroteck or evosport have the TSW I would check with both.

clean.

stock hieght - Very clean - lower = Perfect. One of my local vendors offered to powder coat the same wheels to match those of the SL65 - $150 ea. wheel. I think that would look great. It's nice to see exactly what my car looks like with mods I want to do. Looks clean, thanks for posting the pic.

That doesen't look that bad for 19s with stock suspension-at least from the picture. I wonder if I could get away with 18' Bremmas and keep stock suspension without it looking a little odd? Anyway, didnt mean to get off topic. I love the E46 M3 and almost bought one. I am happy with my C32 though and look forward to meeting up with an M3 at a stoplight someday!
