SL73 AMG with SLR nose
I was heading north on the 101 freeway in Agoura Hills, Ca and along beside me appears a yellow SL73 with the SLR nose. If this guy was a poser he spent an awful lot of money to be one. The rear wheels were some of the widest I have ever seen.
How many were made?

i've seen that car around 2.
it has a 65 fr bumper and slr front conversion.
i dunno if its real. i think its fake, i wouldnt make sense to put the v12 n/a engine in there, a very lightly modded 55 makes just as much power, the 65 makes even more

That's him. Florida license plate. I believe it has Kompressor V12 on its side in the usual spot.
I did some research on net and found that there is a real one out there that has the same motor as the Zonda producing 550HP but 730+ torque.
Can't remember the year(s).
There was also a Renntech conversion. Don't know if the Florida dealer is doing its own conversion...

are you saying that you guys saw an r129 or r230 badged as SL73?
and yes, nlp, the 7.3 V12 from the Zonda has always been the old V12.
btw, the new Zonda F has up the HP to 602 and it ran around the TopGear track faster than the MC12/Enzo.
