What is my C32 worth?

Hi guys. Not sure what happened to my last screen name. I used to do a lot of research here when I was looking to buy my C32. But time has come that I am considering selling it. It is a 2003, silver with charcoal, C32 with 16k/mi. 2000 miles ago it got new brake pads, and 19x8.5/9.5 Lorinser knock offs. Car has no paint work and 3 small blemishes on it. Most people would not pick them up when they looked at the car. No nav, but has the zenons and cd changer.

I'm in SoCal. What is a car like this worth?

Thanks,
Matt Andrews

DON'T DO IT. U'LL REGRET IT! LOL. Unless offcourse ur planning to upgrade to something faster and better.
As for the value of ur car, I just bought my C32 so I was very busy doing a lot of research the last couple of months and I'd say u should easily get around 34-35k for it due to the very low miles!! u could fetch a little more if ur willing to wait for the person who's willing to pay but if I was u I’d try to sell it before the new W204 design comes out which is rumored to be sometime late in 2006 as a 2007 model.

I found the Ebay search for ended items feature very useful, also you should try kbb.com and their classifieds . They’re somewhat accurate! Good luck!!

Lots of luck! I've offered mine which has less than 15k miles. Renntech ecu and pulleys , sl intake , new tires, for 4 weeks on this forum. I had 0, nada, zip, response. All sorts of pictures posted current and past of this car. Dealer offered 30. but I just can't seem to let them steal this car.

I just bought an 02 c32 about two weeks ago. I bought mine with 85k miles on it.. which is a far cry from 16k miles.. I got mine under 30k fully loaded with every option and the Starmark warranty. With the miles so low I would think you should be able to get 35k minimum. The problem is most people would rather buy from the dealer to finance and get the starmark. It's kind of a pain to buy a used car, get a loan, then find a car etc.. Man the used car market seems pathetic. I have been trying to sell my BMW 330i for about a month now.. It appears I finally have a buyer, but unfortunately the offer is 3k below blue book and my car is dialed out and in excellent condition.. cheap *******s!!

Good luck to you..

Autotrader
The only real good place to get comparables is in Autotrader.

Compare those for sale by the usual factors: Warranty, Condition, Mileage, Color, Options, but dont forget 'Location' (a CA car is worth far more than one that has been swimming)

Used C32s WITH A WARRANTY are the best deal in used performance cars right now.

Just as most: watching to much TV. I didn't see any cars worth saving. during the storm that drowned the elite section of New Orleans

My401 sorry, a seriously bad choice of words on my part. Honestly forgot your locale entirely. I was exaggerating to make a point that most people miss. Absolutely no intention to bash your sale.

Honestly, I think you have one of the best valued C32s, anywhere. I can't see why you have no nibbles. That is odd.

$29,250
I paid $29250.00 3 months ago for mine no nav or zenon 35k miles from Fletcher Jones in Newport. every other option and was precertified.

I think I did ok.

rrf, I'm sure you didn't intend for you comment to be directed at my car only. I think most shoppers know what they want and should inspect all prior to purchase.
Why the movement is slow in response. Maybe C55, M5,or the new C coming? The sale of My 32 is not a needed program.
We (those not effected by the storms) have been very lucky or blessed which ever reason. I do know for sure its not because we are smarter. Other than maybe twice, this car has not even see rain.

After the heated debate of resale value occured on this forum a few years ago, I wonder what Marko has to say now...

My 2002 C32 just went back to the dealer last week with 23,000 miles. The lease buy out was $28,000 and they'll probably auction it for less. It had every option including COMMAND,XENONS, etc. and listed for 63K with tax 4 years ago. I would not buy a used C32 unless it came with an extended warranty due to the nature of the beast, so trying to sell one from private party to another private party is going to be an issue. Since I turned down buying what essentially was "my own low mileage car" for $28K you get the picture why these cars may be difficult to sell at times.

Low resale is true. But confused why you see so many c230s. Everywhere nation wide. These low power cars sell well. They also sell for around 30-35k. I guess they look all the same parked at the mall! I'm sure my dealer would gladly do an IN & OUT sale with warranty for a fee.

rare.. I just bought my C32, but would have gladly paid over 30k for your car if its the one pictured in your sig..

Talk about depreciation.. I am trying to sell my 2001 BMW 330i in excellent condition with a few upgrades and loaded. I had it listed at 17k well under 50% of the original cost (42k), hardly a sniff.. just a few bone heads offering me 10k cash.. Yeah NOT!! I just lowered it to 15.5k and finally got an offer at 14k.. 4k below bluebook and 6k minimum below a dealer selling price. Man the used car market sucks! I'm giving it one more week and if no better offers come in.. its sold for 14.. Damn that sucks..
