simple basic mods on C and clk 55.
what are the possible mods on C and CLk 55. simple basic mods , meaning other than superchargers and engine swaps as in brabus and kleemanns solutions. These mods should be less than 7k all together. what are the possible results in power(hp and torq) and performance( 0-60 and 1/4) ?

C32 AMG
Normally aspirated, you can get around 40-50HP from following package:
1. HiFlow Upper Intake Lid
2. Green Filters
3. Underdrive Pulleys
4. Headers
5. Shrick Cams
6. Software
Between parts and labor, you will be very close to your $7K budget.

I was quoted ~ $6k for the following installed on a C55. I was also told HP would increase ~50HP. PS already have K & N filters in car.
Kleeman ECU
Kleeman headers
Evosport Pulley
Good deal???
If i added Schrick cams would I see a major increase? I see these cost $2000 or so before installation.

I got quoted 3500. just for a RENNTECH ECU flash and airbox.

11K for the S/C and ECU?? I was quoted almost 16K + tax in Chicago...ouch! The stage 4 (S/C, ECU, Headers/Downpipes and Cams) was running 24 - 25K

Does you know if you can purchase the SC kit from Kleemann and DIY. I don't like anyone touching my cars.

Unless you have a lot of experience with German engines (AMG especially), I wouldn't even risk messing up a $50k car trying to install a S/C with a DIY... Seems really stupid IMO. The people at Kleeman/RennTECH/EVOSport know their **** and work on AMGs 24/7. I would only trust them with my car even if it's a $50k C55, $150k+ SL65, or even a $25k C32.

Took my car to the dealership one time and felt like a movie star when they saw the badge with all the alphabet on it. lol People kept asking what is that? Is it a benz? :p What's it got on it turbo? lol :p I basically told them make an appointment to get your autographs. lol
