BTW...Did you call Evosport and warn them about my car? I sense a conspiracy going on here...

Well said. That was one year ago.

Dude, the more I read on this thread the more I'm convinced that the author has no idea what he's doing & CAN'T COMPREHEND "START OVER" , If I were a mechanic I could retire on guys like these who just close their eyes and throw money at problems until they go away...It's almost comical, I hope his overly privledged 17 year old kid will have at least 51% of his mother's DNA.

Does this guy listen to anybody. Man if it were me I would drive that thing into the Pacific Ocean. The car wins and so does this thread. Well anyways good luck with the car.

Didn't the guy get a settlement from HPS.

I sincerely appreciate your respect.

However, respect means that when someone is willing to offer the advice that you respect, one listens to it.

So far you have not.

One of the main reasons for you to move on is the invisible engine damage that has likely occured and will come and show it's ugly head in the near future. This is why no one wants to touch it. They will get the blame.

There were too many cooks making your stew. It is time to start with a new kettle and fresh meat.

That's what I was wondering. On ther other thread, Frank's C32 dyno chart clearly states that it is Flywheel horsepower. Was that just a typo by the guy who prepared the chart?

I don't know? I missed that, gotta go check that one...I do know they aren't making 355 rwhp or 355 rwto on a Dyno Jet...There's NO way their results would be the same, there is a lot of rolling resistance involved w/roller dynos, not to mention tires/wheels, just changing wheel sizes from smaller to bigger can vary the roller dyno readings by 15rwhp...

I actually saw my dynos on my old Sclass drop by 15-20rwhp when I changed from 18" wheels to 20" wheels...And could deff feel the difference..

If we all used the DynaPak dynos you'd see some much bigger krazy numbers around here, just for the hell of it you should get yours run on a DynaPak to test this theory out....Your #'s would prolly be 5-10% higher as others have noted on this forum...

for one, you are running way too rich...should be in the 11.5-12.5 AFR range, you are probably losing 10-15 hp right there at least because your car is drowning in fuel...

but if you don't understand your car, which you clearly don't, and can not find anyone to tune it properly, then i agree with everyone else here, move on...

Powerchip is Out

Well, Now Powerchip is out also. The NO-GO decision was really mutual since I've heard that they do not do much custom tuning. I need a tuner that can reprogram BOTH the ECU and TCU and Powerchip does only the ECU according to my sources. I'm now down to 3 tuners, SpeedInnvoations, SpeedtuningUSA and a freelance guy from Northern Cali that is here in LA tonight. I will meet him tomorrow but he wants me to leave the ECU with him. I never met the guy before and was only referred to him through a friend. I prefer to meet him at a dyno shop where he can tune the car in my presence but so far no luck. I'm having my doubts. As for Oliver, I am still waiting for some feedback on the interpretation of my dyno data sheets.

With a kit that needs tuning on the AMG motors and no established tuner, I may have hit the end of the road with this project. Adding this to the fact that Vadim and others, including Jessie has told me that the plumbing on the kit causes uneven flow to each the cylinders. I don't know for sure but I'd sure like to have somebody meter the air flow to each cylinder and test it. I hear that that the cylinders on bank 2 have a tendency to fail (driver's side) on quite a few cars which really concerns me because this could cause serious damage to my engine. I've never had problems with the Eaton blower on my SC'd G35 from Stillen Performance since it made over 105rwhp on a 6 cylinder so it must be the manifold design of this kit.

Why do I feel that finding a tuner for my car is like finding a drug dealer. Everything seems to be done on the hush hush, low low. Pretty soon I'll have so start meeting them on a dark street corner or alley at 3am.

BTW...I've already started modding my bikes. Just got an ECU, Sprockets, Air Filters, Headers and Carbon fiber exhaust kit. I think I may end up spending my time on the Ducati and Triumph forums for a while. Sad to say the end of the road is a few days away for this C55.

The Mech Dyno I posted above the JBA dyno (Both were done on the same day) is HIGHER at 387rwp versus JBA's 373rwhp. I would say that JBA's is more conservative unless I misunderstood. Please explain.

Oh my god!! just checked it....He blurred the top ones out, but he must've missed the last one where it clearly states FLY WHEEL torque POWER!!!

Here's his post.........notice the bottom right Dyno states flywheel torque, and you can see it on all of them but just blurred out fly wheel hp etc, while rest of text is super clear??? something funny going on????

SWEET! this is only the first tune (about an hr on the dyno lol) didn't have time to tune it more, will do more tuning when i get more mods. this is making me considering some more stuff to do. lol we'll see. I'm very happy right now.

PM me if you wanna know more about the tuner. lol

The guy on the other thread mentioned that TCF = 1:1 (corrected for rwhp). What does TCF mean? I figure that can't be true, I read many "Kill" posts here about how the C32's were blowing away late model Vettes. It's gotta be making at least 351rwhp to be doing that to a C6!

No they didn't blow away any C6's I argued big time we came to the conclusion, the C6 driver was either heavily jumped or couldn't drive for spit,,my C6 bone stock 348 rwhp 360 rwto and weighs 4-500 lbs less do the math...

I wouldnt bother with speedinovations. They will either charge you for 'pretend flashing' your car (which will do nothing to improve anything), or they will change the wrong thing and blow up the car. I just talked with a good buddy from highschool that claims that his Cayenne Turbo is still without an engine after speed innovations modded it in December last year. Try calling them, you will NOT get an answer - you have to leave a message. At least Powerchip answers the phone, and gives good service and support when you need it. Speed tuning I have not dealt with in the past, they may be also good. IMO.

Even with a Super Rich AFR below 10 across the RPM band, cheap 91 Octane Gas, air-boxes on and a STOCK ECU... It still made 386.75rwhp and 401.98 rwtq. I have'nt seen a recent C32 dyno chart that shows any greater power or torque. As bad as the HPS kit is. I still think with ANY tuning over my OEM ecu, 93 Octane on a DynoPack , I think I can easily make an extra 13rwhp. Sorry but I still have to stand up for the C55 brothers out there!

Why would you tune for 93 octane if you're in California?

Wow. Is your buddy in Amsterdam or here in So Cal? Is there any chance you can disclose his identity? I'm curious because SpeedInovations tuned my car before it got flashed by the dealer and he brought the power up from 310rwhp at HOP to 389rwhp on dyno-tuning in about half an hour at MechTech and the AFR was Perfect. I will post this dyno tomorrow after I scan it at work. Since then I have upgraded the cooling but lost the software and am making the same power. He is reluctant to re-tune my car now because according to him there were too many plumbing issues with the HPS hardware but I sure need him. My two other options are Oliver or Jags Gil (guy in the tricked out White Bentley) from Fremont. He seems to operate in a cloud of secrecy and mystery. He wisped into town without any notice and is hard as hell to meet up with. I've heard good and bad things about SpeedtuningUSA but I really want someone local that I can always count on when I need him.

So you're going to blend 91 + 100 every single time you fill up the car? What happens when you take the car out of town?

At willow springs I walked right past you like you were a sitting duck -- all the way down the front straight. It happened several times too so I doubt it was a fluke. Your car, with all due respect, is not that quick. I also blew away superC55 with his HPS C55 so I know these car are not that quick at all. He got the clue however and yanked off all his blower bs and went back to stock with headers, cams and an airbox and his car is faster than it was with the big fancy blower. Ask him and he will openly agree that the C32 RENNtech blew him away over and over and over - at willow springs and on the freeway. And that was before the C32 had a serious intercooler upgrade.

Your tuning does not look that horrible and will only get a few more hp so I dont see this car becoming a real barn burner. People have seen this blower taken apart and say it has SERIOUS flow issues and will never be a worthy product. Several people have said they are shocked it even makes ANY power over a stock car with its flow pattern. It may be nice looking and polished but it is really a very poorly designed product.
