Thanks for everybody's advice which I didn't listen to until I blew so much money into it that I could have bought at least 5 Kleemanns.
Stop fooling around and experimenting and just get the SL65 renntech! Dude if you've got that much $$ to burn experimenting, give it to me! Or just keep your car and put on the Kleemann kit you purchased.

I still say go with the SL65 which will blow any of your 5.5L modded projects and fantasies out the water. GO SL65 Renntech and you won't regret it if you can afford it.

dont you have a project as well. I think to all his own nobody should tell anyone what to do. Im sure everyone has spent money on their mb that is not normal.

Just like you have a 55 conversion in a 202 but it isnt as difficult but it can be done. everyone spends their money their way right?

What is this something personnal for you?

All the $$ he's spent and trying to spend he might as well get an SL65 which will be more reliable and built to handle his Renntech mods.

There are a quite a few OEM modded E55k's blowing up as well if you don't know.

My conversion is a 1000x simpler and $1000.00's cheaper than putting that K motor in AMGSC's C55. Unless you persoally did the 5.5K coversion in a N/A 5.5L car,how do you know?

Believe me I've inquired about it and it's not as easy as you think. It's easier to just put on the Kleemann kit and it still won't be as fast or reliable as a modded SL65 Renntech.

Why I chose Kleemann over HPS and E55K swap

I decided to swap out the HPS for the Kleemann Twin-screw because it's more compatible with all the other Kleemann mods (Cams, Cats, Headers). I am also getting the custom X-pipe exhaust system installed by Fast Intentions for $2500. Then I am completley done.I have full faith that with Cory/Brandon's Kleemann ECU upgrade bring out the power of the additional mods that HPS could not.

I will still keep my eye out for a used 2005 Renntech SL65 and add the SLR body kit since I still prefer it over the C63 early next year when the SL takes another hit once the new SL chasis comes out. The CLK63 Black Series is awesome also but is still a little overpriced.

X-pipe exhaust system? Is this a system from the 2ndary cats back? Is is custom? $2500 is alot if it is. I had a full mandrel bent 3in stainless system custom made from my 2ndaries back and it was way less than that.

Glad things are finally working out.

Kleeman install Rob, Did you tell them about your engine compression diagnostic check? I am surprised they would still do it. Anyway good luck enjoy the new beast cant wait to hear how it drives its gonna be bad a$$.
What horspower numbers are they looking at achieving? Whats the claim?

I am sure theres someone else out there with a c55 that wants an oem55k swap maybe you both can setup up a race that would be interesting? Pm for more details on the oem 55k for sale. Engine Can also be custom built. Ported heads, cams etc.
