AMGSC why in the name of God would you go through hell dealing with your mods and you can not (don't know how) use it?
I know I can not pilot a plane, so I keep my *** out of pilots seat.
Well, but that's just me.

Do I have to go dig up your old post for you? where you state the MP122 was just a stepping stone for the latest rumored TVS, or whatever it's called?
That was the only true thing you've said about this blower in a long while.

Did you even know Maggie/Maggnuson was bought out by Callaway? a couple months back?

Also w/this new mp122 bogus info, I wouldn't trust this white knuckle never felt new power on your old abused engine garb... You are a salesmens dream customer constantly buying the next pitch, never doubting a word, until it's too late.
Thanks for the counter-points. I appreciate the additional viewpoints and information from different sources. However, Jim does mod a ton of Vettes.

Muscle cars like Vettes, Stangs, etc...are one of his specialties. He had a Vette, MG, Chevelle, E500, Ford GT, etc as some examples of the types of cars he modifies when I dropped by yesterday. If you don't believe him then maybe we can meet over there when I find out when he is tuning the Vettes again using the two different blowers and you can see for yourself. Jim will accomodate us. I too am curious to SEE if what Jim says is true before I bolt this new blower on my car. When are you available to meet at MechTech? I am taking the day off today to see him now.

I'm all out of sypathy for this guy. He's just asking for it now.
AMGSC - You seem to have too much time and money on your hands and just keep dumpin more money into a polished turd. A polished turd you apparently aren't even capable of driving properly! You seem like you could be a nice enough guy if you knew when to shut your mouth… You need to stop being so gullible and/or trusting with these guys (salesman). These people selling you this crap are not your friends. The people on this forum..all of us "C32 bashers"...are the ones that are/were your nonbiased friends. When YOU started turning it into a pissing contest challenging everyone while pounding your chest is where it started to get outta control. Then someone finally accepts and you need a driver?! Are your nuts taped to the back of your cheeks?
Either stop bein the guinea pig for all these crap experimental parts or stop *****en and moanin and defending an inferior product. People are trying to be nice and help you but you make it so hard on yourself!

I'm the school library so I basically have to pinch myself really hard to keep myself from laughing out loud.

Mr. AMGSC, you're really quite some thing. You want to hire a pro driver to race CynCarvin32? Wow, I don't think we need to talk about fair game here. Either put up with your own bets with yourself driving your ghetto rigged car or shut up and rest in peace.

If Jim is the specialist of the muscle cars, I wonder what the hell happened to Vadim's 'Stang. I don't think you'll ever learn, but these guys are worse than used cars salesmen.....

As for the latest update before I go "Dark". My compression check was completed and according to Jim. Each cylinder tested between 195-202psi and were within 10% of each other which is ideal. So bottom line is NO ENGINE DAMAGE. I hate to dissapoint you C32 cynics.

I have this documented on my invoice as evidence in case something happens in the future. I paid $200 for this service plus another $100 for a complete racing oil and ultra high-performance filter change.
I Would get a SECOND Compression/Leakdown test..as from what I Recall
Jim COOKED the Dyno Numbers on a FEW DYNOS.I Think he tried to use a VIPER dyno for the car?

Im Sure he could backpedal out of it !

BTW..Dont see ya signed up for the track day?

https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...=179075&page=3

Might want to bring a trailor or a have a flat bed on call?

So here's what i have for the final count:

1) CyE55
2) Roseylv (+1)
3) ShelleE55
4) Jangy
5) AMG_55
6) egxpimp (+1)
7) DKM
8)NGS_E55

MarioC55, 2K6E55 and DragonAMG are you guys going? Also CynCarvin32 and his friend are supposedly waiting to get permission from their Mommies But it looks like a good turnout, we should definitely hook up for dinner/drinks on Sat in Vegas, we can get the specifics figured out at the track

I have seen many guys come to the track telling me they would blow me away. One C32 guy did that and he claimed his stock car was running times equal to a viper. So when he showed up the car was lowered on coilovers, with swaybars, racing harness etc. He still ran a 1:42.xx when I ran a 1:38.2.

Best part was that guy took me for a ride and he flew off turn 1 at 100+ thinking the car would just magically turn in. Instead it was understeer central and he nearly ended it for us all!

Rule learned.... stay away from those talking a big game and never ride in a persons car who has something to prove!

Ill let AMGSC put his time up with a hot lap timer and then I can do my lap!

Not all engine damage shows up in a compression check.

AMGSC is now at the "oh yeah, well my friend will kick your ***!" phase.

Well willow springs only has one or two areas where you need to worry about walls. That is way I like that track. Some others like Laguna Seca have many walls and thats just not for me quite yet. I have never gone off while I was driving and I hope to keep it that way but things can happen and I like space to get it all under control again instead of smashing a wall. You can still flip a car really easily and I have seen that to pany times. If you go off let the car go so you dont end uo flipping 10 times and breaking your neck!

Off to a new track this weekend I think so should have some pics from there as well.

That's good. We see some much slower impact and the victim still come in with massive injuries.

Have fun and be safe at your next track event!

It sure must be hard for Jim to be an "EXPERT" in so many areas I'll never enter their garage again as long as I live...Those dynos are from C6 Vetts from premier Vett tuners, all they do all day long 24-7- is tune Vettes, Jim has his fingers in so many pies,(dune buggys, mercs, bmw's, stangs, minis, vettes, boats yes boats, I've seen a bunch of radio controled models covered in dust in his vacant showroom) how can he be Vette expert? he's a big part of the creation of the genII go read about the genesis on his web-site..

The dynos and scrapping of the mp122 speak volumes, ignore it at your own risk...
Nuff-said...

Thanks.

I know what can happen. I actually stopped my looney toon driving on public streets several years back after having a reality check. Seeing several really bad wrecks with bodies out on the ground or people being pulled out of my back yard made me realize I need to really live a while longer! You know that all to well I bet.

Self preservation is a darn strong instinct! Always drive quickly enough to have fun but slow enough to be with-in your ability!

best option:

save 5-10k

and buy from a reputable Tuner/Manufacturer

(Kleemann, Brabus, Carlsson, evosport, RENNtech, etc...)

Word to the DoomSayers!

Just got my car back from MechTech and drove it up the 15N at 180mph! When I accelerated, for the very first time, the force actually slams me back against the seat with such G force that it's incredible!

I stopped over at Linh's on my way back home and he test drove it. Guess what! He admitted it's the strongest the car has EVER felt! He believed no C32 would stand a chance and I agree. After he revved AND floored it in 1st-3rd gear up and down the streets of Lake Elsinore and 4th-5th on I15S. We stopped for dinner and lifted the hood to touch the top cover of the SC kit and it was warm but not hot. We were actually able to lay our palms on top of the cover for several seconds without any burning feeling. This new intercooler IS AMAZING! He even changed his mind and told me to keep the kit and forget about the Kleemann unless they can guarantee me over 450rwhp because my car already feels close.

He told me that I was one of the lucky ones and cannot believe that my crappy kit which caused so much problems for him is running so well on my car. He attributes most of this exception to Jessie's tuning since my car spend over 2 weeks with him for continual road tuning.

I think I am going to have one more dyno and let's see if the rwhp will NOW match the rwtq of 438 with coolant in the core. I think it is possible because the heat soak was what prevented Jessie from going any further the last time around. Afterwards, I might as well slap on the MP122H and see if I can hit over 450rwhp before attempting any long tube headers, cats, exhaust and cams.

Brad,
Please PM me with your best price on the Quaife's and I'll bring my car upon your next open slot.

BTW... After I get the Quaife installed I WILL sign up for the track event Mark Cummins posted. See ya'll there.

Mark,
I still have'nt thanked you for the dyno challenge at HOP or else I might still be driving around with +10rwp and AFR at +17. You were the guy who got me started on my quest for justice and HPS has made many improvements since then although there were also some mishaps along the way. I've heard Kleemann and Renntech had their problems but customers are always asked to sign confidentiality statements before any work is started so they cannot share their stories like I am.

Yes, somebody handed me a bogus chart but it could have been an honest mixup. However the Viper chart was given to SUPERC55 from DC Performance in Culver City. It had nothing to do with HPS or MECHTECH as far as I know unless there was some collusion between them as DC Performance was an HPS distributor at the time?

You drove at 180mph on 15N? Hmmmm.................... not sure whether I should laud you or shake my head. In any case though, driving like that on 15N will surely be good practice for the road course challenge.

Wouldn't that just be magical if a sc'ed 5.5 V8 could somehow outperform a sc'ed 3.2 V6? It would be a first.

This is a moot point - Kleemann wouldn't guarantee you a ****-up in a brewery in light of what you have already done (and announced everywhere) to your car.

ONE more dyno??!! We all know where that number will end up if you are going to 'slap on the MP122H' and then put headers and cams on. Out of curiosity, why are you considering Kleemann cams? Can we assume that you know you are not out of the woods yet regarding possible engine damage?

I was thinking you were dumb, but i see your getto tuner shop is also stupid

They have a dyno why not run your car on it? driving 180 mph "BS" is not smart on your part and on their part. take it to a track!

You forget that I got custom tuning and had speed govenor removed. What's so strange? C32's owners have posted top speeds of +170mph. Besides it was wide-open between Escondido through the Pass and I had my radar on.

Ahhhh I Would Not advise you to continue that on 15! As They have CHP Aircraft...and the Radar dector will NOT Help you as they use the HWY Markers to pace you and you wont have a chance in Court!

I Know this FIRST Hand as I Got cited/arrested for going 150MPH PLUS on the 15 and trust me it was not CHEAP! they Impounded the Car Went to Jail and cited me for several violations!

I Would take the advice of OTHERS . ...go to the track! Get a Instructor !

No matter how much advice he is given it won't matter because he doesn't listen. Majority of people on this thread has already given him some good advice but again it doesn't register with him.

OK, this thread is as interesting as it ever was in its long storied life.

AMGSC, I am eagerly awaiting your dyno results for the very fast car you have got. I really hope that your car is as fast as you hope. This is an aweful long time to spend on a car to get it to where you think it is.

Just by reading what was done to the motor, my respect for AMG engines have grown tremendously. For an engine to take on a bad supercharger, coolant leak, dyno pulls (and whatever you have listed in your signature), it is remarkable that engine is still going.

Waiting for the dyno results. Until then for me.
