Advice On Tire Job...
So I called them up and they said to come by and if they can't find it they will reimburse me for a new set (I thought this was a good gesture) Now for the question...
What about the weights they put right on my rim? See the pics below...
Is this standard? I know they had to do this to balance the tire but is this the only location? It looks like crap! Especially if I had some really expensive rims - I'd be pretty upset!
What do you guys think?
Is this the norm?Thanks,
Nick
The balance machine will tell the tire jockey where to put the weight. A smart tire jockey will be able to figure out how to split the weight and move the pieces an equal number of degrees to either side of the indicated spot until the weights are hidden.

As noted above, it does seem to be a lot, plus on one end the weight is peeling off.
Compared to OEM wheels weights - these look like crap. They are about the cheapest wheel weights you can buy. I use the exact same kind as throw-aways for my shifter kart.
I don't know of an aftermarket source for the MB OEM wheels weights - last time I had a flat, and independent repaired the nail hole, but I went back to the dealer for the wheel balancing to get the factory weights.
