Sold the Beast!!!
Well all... it's definitely been fun hanging with everyone here. I have sold the car and I'm going to miss frequenting this c32/c55 board.
In case anyone is wondering what I got for the beast... $70,800 (IMO the buyer got one hell of a deal). Unlike all these other s/c'd C55 mine actually runs without a single problem and produces A LOT of power!!!
As far as what I'm getting next.... not really sure. I originally wanted a Porsche Turbo but that CLS 55 is looking so damn sexy. I'm strongly considering going with the CLS55 and sending it over to my friends at Kleemann for the Stage 3 600hp application.
Decisions decisions.... any thoughts?
BTW -- I have a brand new set of mounted Mickey Thompson Drag Radials on 17" AMG wheels for sale. PM me if interested.

I like the CLS quite a bit, probably my favorite MB, BUT...and it's a big 'but'...I find I really like having a more nimble car. Obviously the p-car and the CLS are so completely different that I wonder if you wouldn't be happiest in a car that was the best of all worlds with high-performance, luxury, and agility, like...oh...I dunno...a Kleeman 55K S7 or something like that

dragonAMG: nice that you were able to ge that kind of money, I actually think the person who bought the car got a hell of a deal. Good choice on the CLS55, I think it's a sexy car, but that damn Turbo is so hot also, don't know. Decisions...Decisions...IMO i would get both, lol!

Yes, my car had a couple of issues, some becuase of the 100 shot I was runing, some due to programming, but my car is now 100% perfect.
:v I had the S/C back when you were wearing diapers...
I didn't see you making an efforts to race me either. Outside of your jurisdiction!
I guess it doesn't matter anymore, good luck in the future, if you are serious about a CLS - call Meridian - John the owner has one sick CLS (RENNtech off course, over 600hp)

I'm glad to hear the car is now 100%. That's great news!
I'm serious about the CLS, but there is no way I would put anything other than Kleemann in my car.

Josh, its great to hear that you are looking at the CLS55!! If I had the money to buy ANY car south of $125,000 I would buy that car WITHOUT hesitation and then drop it off with a tuner!! That car is SO DAMN COOL, I just cant get enough of the CLS55... Anyways I know you like Klemann, and I am sure you know what brabus did to their CLS55 (called the Rocket), but take a look at Brabus if you havent. I dont know if they even have a shop here in the states, or how reliable they are (or how much the Brabus kit costs). I know the Klemann CSL55 is a rocket also... Man I was a little jealous of your car, but I will hunt you down and steal your CLS55 if you hop it up to 600hp, man I hate you!!! j/k, I wouldnt even look at the porsche...

997TT and CLS55 are exactly my "next cars". Both will give ultimate driving experience. Your friends/family willl enjoy the extra luxury of the CLS e.g. amazing backseats.
You can always get a TT any time, but the CLS is more of a fashion and better to own it now than later.
I will take the CLS.

Wow, I'm surprised you've sold the Kleeman supercharged C55. You put quite a bit of effort and $$ into it. Even though you say you get bored of cars very quickly, I can't help but ask whether there were any NEGATIVE aspects about the C55 which may have contributed to you selling it so soon?

Congrats on the sale! I am also looking at the CLS55 as my next car. Will have to wait a couple of years til the used ones come down to my price range!! Hopefully 2008! Patiently waiting..
