Random night shots of my C55 (56k ZzzZzz)

I went up to OC to visit Steve (MBenzNL) for some version-coding mods on my car tonight then decided to have dinner afterwards at the family restaurant up in La Palma. We saw a ton of nice lighting and had some time to kill so here are some night shots of the C55.

Not so great lighting.

Beautiful pics! How has your ride been since you had to put spacers on? Any vibrations at high speed?

Thanks. I was using my Canon 20D for these pics.

Thanks. The ride is fine. Can't even tell that the spacers are there even at high speeds, 100+. I feel every single bump in the road though with the 19's and the stiffer setting on my coilovers. If the C55 was much of a road trip car at all before (which it was not) mine sure as heck isn't one now.

Your car is sex. But I thought you said you were going to put the stock grill back on. The stock grill looks so much better in my opinion.

Yeah I was going to take it off earlier in the week but I haven't gotten around to it. I also wanted to see if it grows on me. I'm still undecided. However, common sense tells me I should sell the grille and use the funds towards Neal's CF lip once they're in stock again.

Thanks. Yes, my pictures are always without flash. The only exception to that is indoor portraits. Otherwise, a tripod is your best friend.

LOL... Frank, your pictures are fine. I saw the ones you took on Super Bowl Sunday and they looked good to me.

White cars aren't necessarily easier to photograph as I've heard from people that some magazine photographers will avoid white cars at all costs. The issues I have with white cars is stray light of other colors easily getting absorbed by the paint and over-exposure due to improper exposure metering on my part .

I'm currently using a Sigma EX 30mm F/1.4 prime lens. I think the 16-35mm L would be perfect on the 20D. I really want an L-lens but just can't justify the price...yet. Post up some sample pics once you do receive it. I'd like to see the quality of that bad boy.

LOL...I tried cleaning it once but gave up after 15 minutes because I wasn't making any progress. I need a Dremel with a polish tool or something....
