C55 on Ebay,, 3rd listing?? good price?

C55 on Ebay,, 3rd listing?? good price?
Have seen this on Ebay for the 3rd time. It seems to be a ver good price. $42000, with less than 10k miles.
$15k is a big hit on a car this new..... going from the msrp.
Does Mercedes ****er alot with their msrp. And if not why does the C class amg take such a nose dive.
I did call the dealer and the guy said it has a clean title and no lemon buy back.

Probably a flood car. I called on an E55 that was not in the flood area, but the guy was upfront to say he was buying flood cars from the hurricanes, etc., reconditioning them and selling for a steal. The E55 was a 2004 with low miles for like $54K.
That way they can honestly say "no paintwork, no buyback, etc.". If the damage isn't extensive, the title is clear, too. Caveat emptor.

Car might be a pretty good swimmer, but if water enters the engine or transmission, they are thrashed. Warranty claims on a swimmer will receive no sympathy from the factory, and rust and corrosion are continuing in the "nooks and crannies" where you cannot stop it.
As to value, a flood car, even after a short dip in a clean pond, reduces the cars' value to 1K to 2K at auction.

I think the color has a lot to do with the price. The market for red cars is pretty small. If it were silver, it could bring an extra grand or two easy.

CarFax shows no history of accidents, flood damage, etc. One owner in Wisc. and mileage checks out. Looks like was traded in to a dealer in Nov. '05. No signs of an auction. In service date of 6/9/05. Maybe he just got tired of Red.

The only reason you should not buy it is if you live in centeral Wisconsin. I like having the only 2005 C55 in that area. The realty is they shipped too many 2005 C55 to the Wisconsin area and had a hard time selling them. The dealership in Madison received three of them and still had all three when I bought mine in mid-June. Heck they still have one you can buy "new."

I did not pay close to window sticker. I paid $300 over green sheet cost. This vechile does have the two option packages mine does not, however I am guessing they paid closer to $50,000 plus tax, title and bull*****.
So the $8,000 off in 1 year is disappointing to see as an owner, but for you it is an opportunity of a lifetime.

W203 price has been tanking due to new model coming up soon....
You realize the car doesn't have NAV, don't you? NAV is a plus point for me (I personally will never consider a car w/o NAV) even though MB's NAV is just plain retarded (as compared to Japanese)
Plus.... never like a car w/ front plates...
Other than that, it's a good price.... in CA, this price will not last a day.

Yea the dealer said the guy that had this car gets in and out of new cars twice a yr.
Im not a red color fan anyways,,,,,, and well I still like my Evo too much to sell it.
Maybe if this thing was black or white or even silver.
