My buddy got a Kleeman s/c on his C55

Also got LSD & intercooler as well. Met up with him at an event. Unfortunately I was running my turbo car so I didn't have the M3, but I gots lots of footage of the 55 Kleeman s/c. He raced a modified S4 & a stock C55. I have both those runs on my camera. Unfortunately our track is almost 6000ft above sea-level so the times 'look' awfully slow but a stock C55 ran a best of 14.6 @ 98 in the 98 deg heat today (had quite a few runs as well) so compared to a stocker the Kleeman is almost a second quicker & traps 10mph more.

Oh BTW, I'm a troll, a liar & very bad person but I met someone from this BB today (Hi AMG Fanatic nice meeting you) & I have asked my buddy with the Kleeman to come online & post.

Couple of questions pls.

1. What exactly are the Kleemann mods on your friends C55? S/c only or is he running headers/ downpipes? ECU? LSD? What stage is he running?

2. Where's the video?

TIA

Looks like he is running a totally different set of wheels in the rear? Stockers in front

I have pointed him to this thread to answer the questions. A Kleeman technician did fly down from Denmark to tune the car. I believe it has headers, but I know for a fact it has ECU & LSD.

I am trying to get some videos hosted now.

I'm curious what, if anything, are the covers over the fog lights doing for him??? I doubt if they make any significant aero difference.

the tires look like street drag radials. so you're saying the kleemann c55 pulls a second faster than a stock c55, which is 13.5? isn't that pretty slow???

Read again. He is 6000 ft above sea level, which is really high. 13.5 at 6000ft is almost like low 12s at sea level.

Overseas plates, 6,000 feet, 98 degrees in February and people flying down from Denmark. Where's the event?! Gotta love the Internet for a little bit of international mystery!

awesome...another of your "buddy's" car.

next time I'm gonna go to the track and look for people with Ferrari or Porches and start calling them my "buddy" too and ask to take some picture of their cars while standing there and watch them run 1/4 mile.

so are you going to claim that in the same condition your M3 will run better.

hey there guys/gals..

interesting thread...but firt lemme intro myself....

Bryce is the name....chairman of the Audi Club in Johannesburg South Africa.....
ive been a huge Mecedes fan my entire life, but bought an S4 coz once u have the luxury of a benz, u not gonna go back to any other brand...and being 27...its waaaay too young to be stuck on one brand already.

so here goes....
i know M&M personally.....we have been friends for a few years now.
yes i know he is a pain in the a$$ BMW fan...the biggest i have ever come across.....
and yes he comes onto our Audi Club forum as well and gives us grief....
but non the less, he really is a cool guy...

but here goes...

i drive an S4...the 4,2 V8... and have had plenty runs with M&M in his silver M3 which was NOT SO STOCK...and in his new Black M3 which is totally stock apart from the back box schnitzer i think that he just put on.

his silver M3 and the new black one run almost neck and neck....
dont knwo if u guys have seen the specs of the last of the M3's but they r slightly faster than the older 2001 -2002 models.

M&M kills my stock S4 and my other buddy(who now drives an RS6)'s S4 as well.....
M&M now runs neck and neck up here at +6000ft above sea level with my other buddies S4 4.2 V8 which has camms and headers and induction and chip.

trust me when i say...i am not a BMW fan, but the M3 is really a flippping fast car....

if seen with my own eye M&M do a 14.0 1/4 mile consistently....
and once again ill say im not a BMW fan.....
i only managed a 15.0 with my S4 on the same track same day.

the kleeman one that M&M is talkign bout is a buddy of ours...im sure he will post here, and it sounds marvelous, and yes we were all expecting a better time buy hey.....maybe 35 degrees centigrade is just too hot for the s/c car.

the Modded S4 of our buddy only ran a 14.6 best time....which is only 1 sec off the S/C C55.....

so not sure what else to say here, but man, my S4 gets killed by M&M's M3(whihc now only has about 1500km on it) and ive seen him kill C32's that were modded and stock C55's....

i dont knwo why the M3's r that quick, but they r....

just my 2c...
im outta here for today....

btw...been reading htis forum for the past couple of years and today is my first post cause i see M&M having a hard time LOL...its crazy
