That is clearly someone who phished a eBay user account and listed a item that doesn't exist.

In fact, I get a lot of those phishing type emails - some are good and some aren't. Everyone here should be very careful logging into to site via embedded links sent to them in an email.

It was clearly not the owner of this account that posted the fraudulent auction. Someone stole their login info and used it to list the nonexistant car.

I can't believe how many people actually fell for it and emailed the seller asking about the car. Sheesh!
