I am not sure what shops will do the mod in the US but Steve (MBenzNL) enabled it for me. He might be coming to an area near you so email him at steve@mbenznl.com for further info.

I hope you aren't thinking that silver C55 is mine. That car belonged (now sold) to DragonAMG.

My mods are in my signature.

I see !
Let me ask a few boring questions
Do our wheels as stated
19x8.5F/19x9.5R BBS LM
Have any rubbing issues at all without changing anything to your suspensions and springs? What tires sizes that you are using with the BBS LM? Do you use any spacers? What offsets are the BBS LM?
tks

The front wheels require a 5mm spacer to clear the brake calipers. You may or may not have rubbing issues in the rear depending on how low you want the car to be. My rear tucks so I occassionally have rubbing issues. I am running 235/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19 in the rear. I'm running Toyo T1R tires because of the fender friendly sidewalls. Let me know if you have anymore questions. :Y

Guess the BBS rims come with the spacer already?
I am not yet ready to go for 19" because some bad roads I have to pass through. I just recently tested my 18" rims and that 35 psi cold tire pressure for the rear is impossible - too bumpy. It was ok when I pump the rear to 34 psi. I am going to lower the tires rear pressure to 32 psi as some has suggested, and front 31 instead of 33 now.
Last question is, I plan to use 235 instead of 225 for the front with my stock 18" rims. I bet there wont be rubbing issues right?

The BBS wheels do not come with the spacers though they are wheel specific. They are $80/each side. I also bought a set of 10mm spacers just in case so I spent over $300 in spacers. There is no vibration whatsoever so I'm not complaining. You get what you pay for.

As for road quality, I agree that you will have a rougher ride due to the lower profile tires. I am extra careful in areas I'm not familiar with due to the ****ty roads here in San Diego. I'm not sure about rubbing with 235 tires but I don't think it should be a problem.

i used 235s on my fronts (17s) and there was no rubbing issues. i have 225s on the fronts now (18s). you should be fine, but they may look kind of frumpy.

by the way, what is the side emblem on the C55 with the carbon fiber lip? what does it say?? kompressor?? just curious how you got that??
