Has anyone done baseline dynos then post mod?

I am a car enthusiast not a MB owner, love cars in general and just wanted to gather info on the competition. I see alot of the guys making nice power from the kill stories and wanted to see what these cars typically put down before and after mods. Also what to what extent do most of you guys go to pursuing power?

I just had one done not to long ago for a baseline.

288hp
281tq

That is with 59,000 miles, just after the 50k A Service (the expensive one)

I have since put a set of K&N Filters, deleted the resenator, placed an order on ASP Pulleys and plan to get a A/F Dyno Tune very soon

Hoping to brake over 300hp/tq to rw's with those changes.

stock, i did 293rwhp and 286rwtrq on a dynojet 248. don't remember conditions much but it was 80+ degrees. now with asp pullies and soon chip tuning and sl55 splitter, i think 330rwhp is not out of the question. i've seen a dyno of a complete stage I pulley/ecu pull about 350rwhp, and stage II (add headers and ignition mods) near 380rwhp

Dyno before mods with old motor: about 177rwhp. Going to dyno the new motor soon. Should make 350rwhp after blueprinting and cams and headers.

sounds like a good plan. i think with c32 motor with pullies, cams, headers, and tuning will put out more than 350rwhp. i would not be surprised if it were even higher than 380rwhp, seeing how some pulley/ecu, headers, ignition, intake c32's have demonstrated close to 380rwhp. sans any variance b/t difference in drivetrain among c32 and c-coupe. i am excited to haer about your results!

There is no difference in most of the drivetrain components between my car and a C32. All factory parts and appearance. Only difference is the transmission has an extra clutch in the C32 and the C32 has a 3.06:1 final drive ratio. My car lacks that extra clutch plate, but it won't make a big difference since I don't plan on driving hard all the time. My car also has a 3.27:1 final drive ratio, which means it will be faster. I think with a larger crank pulley it might make 400rwhp.
