Just bought a C32!!!

First off, an introduction. My name is Stephen and I have been browsing the forums for some time. Finally registered a few minutes ago because I bought an '03 C32 this morning! The car is simply amazing, that's all I can say. Pictures will be posted later after I go take a few, but for now,

I'm still getting used to it and to tell you the truth I'm wary of opening her up all the way. Then again its only got 20k on the odometer so its still kind of new!

good choise for a used MB.

I too bought mine used. It is by far a best value for its comfort, power and luxury. Not to mention its potential for power.

please do have some springs installed, sinc the front sits way to high, you wont regret it.

enjoy your C32

Thanks for the welcome Guys

I'd already did some modification on the car. Lowered the car & put rims already. I will attached pictures later.

Well I opened it up on the way to work today....and then at lunch....and then again on the way home. Wow. And its probably still in "grandpa" mode as far as the shifting goes! I'll try the ECU reset thing or whatever its called and see what that's like. The traction control light came on when I punched it at 30 going DOWN an on-ramp. Had to slow down to merge with traffic too. So much fun but I did burn 1/2 tank of gas today

Knock on wood but I'm used to fast vehicles. Ok so my other vehicle is a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 9" of lift and 35" tires but its got a V8. Oh and my motorcycle will do the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds at 125 mph. This is not the fastest car I've driven but its definitely the fastest I've owned. I don't usually drive the way I was driving today but I wanted to explore the capabilities of the car so I start to learn what to expect of this beast.

Congrats on the new ride. I've had mine for 2 weeks now and am convinced that you can not find a better car for the money. I am like a 16 year old trying to find an excuse just to get behind the wheel some more. Also find myself hunting for the next victim all the time....

Good luck with the car, it's looks very clean. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did with our first AMG's. Welcome to the club!!!

New2Me are you planning on attending the AMG Challenge in Joliet??

Where can I get the details? Anything with AMG and Challenge in the same phrase sounds like fun to me...

Stephen, you and I are driving the exact same car. Do you have Bi-Xenons? I have added a rear spoiler as well as Renntech springs. These two mods have changed the entire look and stance of the car IMO. I've had mine since December and can tell you the "looking for excuses to drive" has diminished some, (especially with premium gas at 3.17/gal and miles rapidly approaching warranty expiration) but the "looking for next victim" has remained constant. Have fun!
