Another C32 joins the fold
Firstly let me introduce myself, I'm Quad Pipe.
I have driven Beemer's for the last 12 years or so. I'm currently on no. 8 (I think). I am driving an E46 320i at the moment which replaced my M Coupe last year (hence the nick by which I'm known on a few other motoring forums). My M Coupe went to the graveyard and I went to ER for a while . What possessed me to replace a M Coupe with a 320 I still don't know
Anyway, been on the lookout for a C32 for the past month and a half and finally found one last week. '02 C32, black on black, 70500km's (44k miles) on the clock. Beautiful!
So the 320's been traded in. Today she's gone for the tracking device and paint treatment. Delivery tomorrow. I'll post pics.
I have lurked for a short while now and it seems I know one or two other members, M&M being one.
you will miss the handling of your M, since the C32 won't be nearly as good. However power is very impressive and it will always treat very kindly over bumps.
Just Sunday, I saw a M coupe on the freeway. He cut me off and took off. I let the incident go, since I have 3 speeding tickets in the last 4 months. It was not worth the trouble. It was pretty clean and had aftermarket wheels, and I'm pretty sure it was the 315hp version, since it was pretty quick. It did no have any Dinan or AA stickers, and the stock tips were still on.
Very nice car and I would love to own one as a week-end car.
Quad Pipe comes from my M Coupe days - 4 pipes out the back
I'm getting her today and going to purchase a laser jammer tomorrow.
On the M Coup, I had this as an everyday car - horribly impracticle and the golf clubs had to occupy the passenger seat on weekends. Decided against another one as the C32 is just so much bang for the buck and I also wanted to try something other than BM. Merc is the logical choice.
I've met M&M a few times, helluva nice guy and he certainly knows his beemers, in fact I chatted to him yesterday. I beleive the car I bought belonged to an ex-member here, Dracco. Small world.

Congrats on your new purchase. I am sure you are going to love every minute of owning an AMG!
I note that you vehicle is Right Hand Drive. What's the story there???

Anyway, absolutely in love with the car. A few little niggles still need to get sorted at the dealer (one that doesn't have a good service reputation
).
Still need to pull the stickers off.
I have a few niggles which the stearlership needs to sort out, some of them I pointed out during the test drive and they did nothing

Car's on a 30 day unlimited warranty. Yesterday the orange engine light came on. Car driving fine so don't know what that's all about. A few other things include:
1. Ext. temp stuck on 85 deg C.
2. Drivers side heated seat not working, light on switch doesn't even come on (maybe there's a fuse for it)
3. Electric headrests on both sides not working
Going to book her in today.
