Different rear tire size on C55

Different rear tire size on C55

Hi All,
I just wanted to verify that I can go with a 255/35/18 tire on a stock rear C55 rim. For now, I'm keeping the stock front 225 tire.

Will there be any problems with the traction control/computer using this combination of tire sizes?

Also, has anyone tried the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S? I know it isn't a super max perf. summer tire but I mostly baby this car and got 13K out of the rear tires!!!!

there wont be a problem, but i suggest u go w/ 235 on the front, it needs more front end grip than rear.

if u get 13k mi fron ur rear tires; u bought the wrong car

Yes, this size will be fine in the rear. However, I would leave the same width in the front to avoid potential rubbing issues.

My 2005 C55 came with Michelin PS2's mounted. 225/40/18F 255/35/18R

No issues

255/35/18 on the rear wont be a problem for your C55.

I'm running 245/40/18 instead of the original 245/35/18 because Falken Azenis doesn't come in the OEM size. It's running fine even though the fronts are 225/40/18.
