There is an aftermarket ice ipod integration kit that will work with your car. It won't display the ID3 tags on your radio/cluster, it will show CD track #s instead. The OEM mercedes ipod kit won't work with your car.

Yesterday Steve (MBenzNL) installed iPod kit in my 2005 C55.
The job has been completed in 1 Hr and he is very meticulous in his work.
I am very happy to work with him again. I have full control of my iPod and I don’t have to disconnect for any thing other than moving songs from iPod.

Where are you guys located? Was there an adapter he used and if so name and part number would be great?
From the other forums it sounds like I can hook it in via the CD Changer fiber cable, but I would have to loose the CD changer all together. I prefer to have both with controls at the head unit.
